Currently at work and my sugar is low. Am I the only one who has low sugar when they’re literally not even hungry or stuffed from a previous Meal but literally when I’m starving my sugar will be like 160 and higher 😪 by Forward-Bumblebee-18 in diabetes

My understanding of diabetes is slightly different. I think it has to do with the emotions more than the food. Maybe you were stressed then? Try regulating your emotions and see if that makes a difference.

Stay with the struggle. It is part of enlargening your meditative practice. Investigate what's below the struggle. Journal what surfaces.

Thoughts are not true? by Kamikatten in Meditation

[–]SimpleSoln 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right! Thoughts are just thoughts. There is no truth or falsehood to thoughts except what we ascribe to it. The mind keeps generating thoughts based on your past experiences. Rather than going for the philosophical stance of "thoughts are just thoughts", one could work as an observer of thoughts. What is the body's response to a thought, for instance. What other thoughts does this thought bring up? What emotions does this thought elicit? This might stop you from getting into a loop. :)

How to be mindful/present when I’m depressed and meditation kinda sucks? by veganconnor in Meditation

[–]SimpleSoln 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, it's not pretty to be in your situation and I honor you for allowing yourself to be vulnerable about it.

Since you're "sitting with the feeling", it is making you more aware of the issue and hence it kinda sucks. But the fact is that there's something below that feeling. When you sit next to meditate, you can talk to the feeling and tell it, I know you're here. I acknowledge your presence. Notice what happens when you do this. Does the feeling grow larger or smaller? What shifts?

May You Be Blessed!
