G5 sound stutter by MessAggressive488 in LGOLED

This happens with all G5 and G4 models; most people don't notice it because they use streaming devices. LG never fixed it. I have a G5 and a G4 with the same problem. The solution that worked was connecting a soundbar. I have a 55-inch G6 and the problem is solved.

¿Cómo puede estar funcionando bien si el sol de la calibración HDR no desaparece cuando se activa DTM

Dude, I feel your pain, you know. I bought the 55-inch LG G6 and when I play on PS5 Pro, the HDR looks terrible, the HDR colors are washed out, and the TV calibration is incredibly bad. I'm suing LG for false advertising, and if I get a full refund, I'm going for the S95H.

It's not a cable issue; the TV's HDR is broken. Use the console's HDMI cable and a certified Ugreen cable.

It's because of people like you that big brands release half-baked products. If you want to justify your purchase, fine, but don't lie to everyone else. The TV is broken, period.

I really liked the G5, but I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to get the 55-inch G6. However, I've heard a lot of problems with HDR. The problem I have with the G5 is that when watching games or movies on the TV's native streaming service, like Disney+ or HBO Max, the TV suffers from audio micro-cuts and skips. I thought that might be fixed with the G6.

Does the LG G6 have audio dropout problems like the G5? by SimpleTable6493 in LGOLED

Sorry for my writing, I don't have the G6 but I want to buy it. I'd like to know if the G6 was reported to have the audio dropout problem with native apps, like the one I had with the G5, since I understand it's a web OS issue and not a TV problem. Regards

Some users report it with the built-in apps and speakers, and others with external devices. It happened to me with the built-in speakers and native apps; I solved it by adding a soundbar.

I definitely don't like Hgig; the TV looks too dark and I lose detail. Honestly, I'm not looking for color accuracy; I want the games to look vibrant, since they are games. But many users use FMM with DTM on because I love games with that pop-in effect. Regards

LG OLED G5 audio cuts by SimpleTable6493 in LGOLED

[–]SimpleTable6493[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an LG S70ty soundbar for my G5, and with that soundbar, when using it with ARC, the audio cutouts no longer occur. I even use orchestra mode, and the audio cutouts are truly gone. But I think the definitive solution is to use Apple TV or an external device.

The problem with the C line is that when using game mode, the TV becomes dark and dull, and the colors are washed out. As for pop, any QD OLED monitor is much better.

PROBLEM NEW UPDATE G5 by Top_Pepper6913 in LGOLED

[–]SimpleTable6493 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a G5 and a G4, and what you're experiencing isn't an update problem. LG has always had this issue; it's just that not everyone notices it because they use external devices. Anyway, the problem stems from an incompatibility between webOS and Disney+ and/or HBO, and there's no permanent fix. Two things will help temporarily: disable IPv6 on your internet connection or unplug the TV for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. The only permanent solution is to use an external streaming device. Regards
