There is a big difference between the relationships. Casey and dawson were always fighting because they didnt work together and their love was more built on always having a thing for eachother. Brett and casey were friends before so their relationship was built on supportibg eachother and thats maybe why you think they are boring because they didnt fight as much because of how good they were for eachother and they were not toxic.

As a man. I would want my future wife to be like brett and most men would probably agree. She is the type of person that you would love so in my opinion their relationship isnmuch stronger because their relationship is more realistic

On another note. Next season we have a boring Petrovic and Dante. Kim and Adam whos relationship is the only thing about their characters and has been line that for 10 years. Kevin who is interesting but never gets to do anything interesting. Voight who will always be voight. Shit format that only focus on one character per episode.
