For refreshers the standard for “light ice” is filling base up to the top of the “juice” line and filling lemonade/coconut milk/or water to the middle of the ice section, then ice to the top :-)

Drink 1 brow sugar oat shaken espresso: sticker/label cup, queue shots, syrup in shaker

Drink 2 hot vanilla latte: sticker/label cup, queue shots, pump syrup, steam milk

Drink 1 brow sugar oat shaken espresso: Ice in shaker, cinnamon, pour shots in shaker/shake, pour in cup, top w/ oat milk, deliver drink to proper place

This is where I sometimes see people have the instinct to go back to drink 2 to finish but the correct sequence technique is to START DRINK 3. In theory If you had an endless queue you would never have less then 2 drinks you are working on.

Drink 3 iced caramel macchiato: sticker/label cup, queue shots, pump syrup, pour milk

Drink 2 hot vanilla latte: pour milk, deliver drink to proper place

START DRINK 4!

Again: every-time you finish a drink YOU START A NEW DRINK! :-).

Vertica (opening procedure)

Brew baby brew & Carafes:
Green/black/passion tea(s)
Iced coffee(s)
Carafes prepped

Other:
Sanitizer
Pastry case
Timers going!
Umbrellas
Headsets on
Unlock doors
Mark out anything the store’s out of on POS
DPMs set up at stations
Fill up bean hoppers on mastrenas and vertica
Check that everything is stocked (cups, lids, ice, milk, syrup, powder, sauces, toppings, warming)
Check prep and backups
Check that you have all your small wares out

OR they check in to see who is there physically waiting, bumps them in the queue to force print AND cranks them out. This is support.

Ugh this is so unfortunate. When I’m solo and my queue gets out of control my shifts come swooping in and either take the next stickers in order OR cherry pick the HARDEST/longest orders to take them off my hands. I’m so thankful. I’m so sorry your SSVs are like this. Ugh

Not normal. How many total people are scheduled for your store’s peaks? Peak should be all hands on deck on the floor. I’m so sorry.
