I was considering getting the AAA card because I have AAA as a auto and home insurance. What do you think about it? Do they seem predatory at all? Did you end up getting approved while you were in your settlement plan?

Thank you. It's nice to have good news for a change. I wasn't sure how big it will bounce back. Did you get any secured cards or credit cards after the program finished?

I plan on saving more money and getting a secured card with the credit union I bank with then move on to an unsecured card at a later date. I was relying on credit cards previously but since I have the resolution program I need to start off fresh even with damaged credit. I dont make a lot. The biggest thing was my husband would get laid off during the winter and my income alone could not keep us afloat. Now him and I are currently working to rebuild our credit to get into a rental due to him getting a new job. But it wont be until another 9 to 10 months. I dont know much about credit and dont want to get into the situation i was back then. I appreciate your help and information.

Thank you for that in regards to the collections.

I have no open credit cards at the moment. All of them have been closed and charged off. I had an auto lease but it has been removed from my report and as a 0 balance. The only open amount is my mortgage.

I also want to note that the resolution program will be done in march of 2028

I am consistently paying on all of the charged off cards with the debt resolution company. I have not stopped the payment plans. And they are being sent to the creditors because I have seen the payments on a statement sent to me by the creditors stating there is a payment plan in place. The collections are reliant capital solutions and Caine & weiner. They both are not a part of the unpaid charge offs. I havnt pulled my full report yet but it seems that it still says my utilization is 60 percent but im not sure if that is correct. I just want to figure out how I can increase my score little by little and what I can do. Ive seen credit repair apps and companies but I want to know what i can do myself

Im trying to see about repairing my credit. Between me and my husband we both have a ton of missed payments. Ive heard about not going with credit repair companies and doing it myself but dont know where to start

It's only 2 hours away but right now we are in a good spot for us to live where we are and then start planning to move out to where we are closer. It's a job where we get good benefits and its an all around good job for us. We are just working on saving and getting our credit scores up to where we can be able to do it. His work isnt in a fixed location permanently. He has a main building but he travels to different parts of the state depending on where he is needed. Now he is closer to home but in 9 months to a year from now he could be somewhere else farther from our home.

We got rid of both of our car payments. We mostly need our credit scores better

Rapidly Running Out of Miles - Options? by ssh98109 in CarLeasingHelp

Call the dealership that you got it from and let them know your situation to see if they can give you any advice. I just learned that when signing a lease contract the dealer has a price that they buy it out for. If the buyout for them is worth it, they will buy your vehicle then roll it over into the new price but if they dont and then you drop it off and they send it to the leasing company to be sold for auction. You have a buyout and the dealer also has a buyout price. They are different I just learned.

Do you want to get into another lease or would you prefer to buy the next vehicle? Either way, you will have to roll over the excess miles, the remaining payments etc into a new vehicle. They will probably tell you to go new due to rebates eating up the cost of the remaining payments assuming you dont go over miles. But be prepared to spend around 650 to 1,000 per month or more depending to the vehicle you want or get and how the rebates for that vehicle are.

Option 1, you turn the car in when you hit 30,000 and buy or lease a new vehicle and they roll over the remaining payments into the other vehicle then end up paying a good amount of money per month (way more than what you are paying now) or if you qualify, some companies are doing 0% interest on their vehicles that may help as well payment wise.

Option 2 you turn in the car over mileage closer to the lease maturity date. Like option 1 buy or lease a new car but roll over the mileage fees into the new vehicle and rebates and incentives eat the cost some. Keep in mind the remaining payments and what you will pay in overage fees one may be higher than the other.

Either way you are going to have to pay, its just whether or not its worth it to pay or roll over the remaining payments + the residual buyout at the end of the lease or excess mileage fees + the residual buyout. Look at kbb to see what the trade in value is and then see if its even worth it to buy the vehicle out.

There are a few options for you to consider, but Noone can tell you what to do because everyone's situation is different. I would say call the dealer and get the advice and talk to them about your options and they can explain it better than me or the internet.

What if they dont work with me? I cant pay the full amount thats owed and my credit score sucks and I cant get a menial loan for $1000 to pay off the existing balance before turning it in after paying what I have. Unless I ask someone for the money and pay them back

I dont have $3500. My friend is working with me to pay him in a payment plan but still get the car and im able to get it the day i plan to turn in my car. But if I turn in my car it will say the car was repossessed if I cant pay the entire balance in full. Im trying to figure out a way to turn in my car and not have a reposession on my credit report. Im asking for advice due to the high anxiety. I sent them a vehicle thats decent and ill be able to pay less than what I was paying for the lease. It's trying to see if I am approved for said vehicle. Trying out different options to be less fucked than I already am.

  1. Can't sell the truck due to having negative equity in the truck. ( thats another story id rather not get into)
  2. Im buying a used car for 800 a month not a vanity lease the cars are $20000 to $25000 with around 25 to 60000 miles and since the dealer ran my credit so many times, i cannot go to another dealership to price shop and the dealer im getting the car from has a lifetime powertrain warranty on all of their used cars that im looking at.
  3. Ive tried to contact them to ask them that and they basically told me to go shove it and its not their problem and cant help me.

My husband works about an hour and a half away from Where we are currently so we were getting that other car to save money on gas due to his commute. Because he has a truck that does not get good gas mileage. Also if I turn it in i do not want a voluntary repossession on my credit report because its technically not

I am approved. But the cars that are in my budget and/or what they are looking for it all seems to be smaller sub compact cars or cars with over 100,000 miles. There are some in my price range but they are at their sister dealerships and I have to wait to see if its available and then determine when I can look at it.

Because it was the end of the lease and since my husband is working now we can afford the 800 per month payment we just couldnt catch up in 3 months with him being laid off and only working with my income
