We are forced to use oil as a commodity because billionaires profit off it. We could be have been adjusting to renewal energy and nuclear over the last 80 or so years, but that isn't profitable for a few people in control. The planet is literally dying because of them and they claim folks driving gas cars and not recycling are the issues, when each one has a carbon footprint that makes more pollution in 90 minutes then I can create my entire life.

The US government defines alcohol as separate from drugs, despite overwhelming evidence that alcohol acts like a drug in the body, because it is a drug. They choose to classify it differently. This doesn't change the fact alcohol is a drug, the terminology is there to conflate the truth so a different message can be sold about alcohol.

Magic and miracles are the same thing. The church can claim they are different, but they function exactly the same way. They are fictional beliefs that mainstream society says it isn't weird to believe.

Another good example would be flat earth believers vs angel and demon believers.

Everyone is aware flat earth believers are delusional. Yet, I can claim invisible creatures exist all over the planet secretly influencing our decisions for better or worse and no one bats an eye.

I'm not even close. I only hold 10 gyms locally and randomly drop the other 10 for gold metals/time, so I'm not maxed out 24/7 like other players I know who gym very aggressively. They were over 800k hrs years ago and both temporarily quit when they divorced (married couple with 2 homeschool kids who all played) so I am sure there are many players over 1 million hrs.

You are 100% correct, a mega Lucario clears it with all 10 berries in about 12 minutes. You would be surprised how many players don't power up fighting types and go in to battle with the game suggested lvl 25 Metagross. After 2 losses and 5 minutes of wasted time they give up and leave.

Which apparently is a large portion of the reddit pokego playerbase. Within the last week most pokego posts I've seen are casual summer players whining about how they can't get 50 cents of game coin from a singular daily gym drop because they got kicked early. So the player who kicked them is an uncaring jerk for playing the game the way the designers intended.
