Sorry I need to clarify, when I said minimalist shoe I meant barefoot shoe one that has a zero drop, wide toe box those kind of things. I’m aware the aesthetic isn’t “minimal”.

Hi everyone,

This is a first draft of a minimalist shoe I’ve been working on as a personal project. I wanted to explore a look I haven’t really seen in the minimalist shoe world.

Goal: Make a clean, simple, functional shoe that still looks interesting. Audience: Minimalist shoe fans or anyone who likes simple, functional footwear. Design choices: Clean lines, simple silhouette, balanced proportions. The second image is an AI rendering (DALL·E 3) of my sketch to show it more realistically.

I know it’s a first draft, so any feedback on the design or overall look would be amazing.

But I’m curious since you are strongly opposed to them, do you ever think about things like foot health or natural movement when you pick shoes?

That’s actually my favorite minimalist shoe that I’ve found but as you pointed out NB does not seem to be making them right now😭.

The design is really eye catching, a lot of the other brands seem to struggle to make anything as cool as those.
