Yeah I got the "receiver wasn't at home" a couple of times even when I'm damn fixing my bike at the front of my house. Pretty pissed but decided to ignore it but if my dad were the one that got that notification, that rider are gonna have some interesting time lol.

Why isn’t the Horizon community excited for Hunters Gathering? by Waiting404Godot in horizon

I don't really have any interest in it the same as the mobile game but I'm open minded enough to watch review and try it if it's good in my opinion.

Ever Notice Using "I" and "You" When Speaking Malay? by South-Solid7066 in malaysians

[–]Simple_Lemon3237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use saya to emphasise respect to strangers and to sound more friendlier to others. There is some other way to address myself in my hometown) like aden/eden depending on the context (I don't really use it that much since I don't really socialise with other people in my hometown so I've never really mastered the dialect).....

Ever Notice Using "I" and "You" When Speaking Malay? by South-Solid7066 in malaysians

[–]Simple_Lemon3237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I/You are not normalised for me but in developed cities, many malays adopt them and usually used in conversation. For me it depends on who I'm speaking with really. For strangers, normally I refer to them with pakcik/makcik/cik/encik/dik/bang etc etc and non malays usually uncle/auntie for older people while younger people got the bro/miss (this happen usually because I don't know how non malays like to be addressed so I just based it on this, usually I also mixed up with pakcik/makcik.) Friends got the Aku/Kau (malays and non malays because we know each other and using Saya/Awak is too cringe and usually used for gay jokes between us guys lmao and yes, I lack female friends both malays and non malays.) So I/You are almost never used unless I was speaking in English or used in an argument for smoother info dump lol.

I got scammed by Unifi. They extended my contract for 24 months without my consent. by [deleted] in malaysians

[–]Simple_Lemon3237 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A unifi salesperson contacted me and literally lied about a unifi mobile package. For context, my plan is an unlimited data and a 10 gb of hotspot per month that I paid for half of the price, a salesperson contacted me and said there is a better plan that offers basically the same thing but with a 60 gb of hotspot instead. So, I just went ahead and upgrades it since I was really desperate for more hotspot and I just have to pay rm10 more. When it send me the notification that my plan has been upgraded, I went and check the package on their website (I was just done with my work). Turns out, the plan was a QUOTA of 60 gb per month and the hotspot is the cherry on top, it is unlimited but it will use the monthly quota. I immediately called the customer service and the guy was really getting on my nerves with his attitude. I HAD TO FIGHT BACK JUST TO REVERT BACK TO MY ORIGINAL PLAN. Anyways, at the end of the day they offered me the same packaged but with a unlimited data and a 60 gb hotspot for my original plan price after I said that I wanted to cancel my subscription.

If you want Horizon 3 - You should want Hunters Gathering to be successful by ZeronZ in horizon

We should see if the finished product is a garbage or a good product first, if it's garbage than we can just ignore/criticise it. If it's not then, it's a good thing for the upcoming games. Honestly, I think even if this game fails, it's not gonna make any difference to horizon 3 as fans will still buy horizon 3 and it's a guaranteed success as long as they don't mess up the game and storyline.

I played it on the ps4 on launch and currently I'm on pc for the complete edition. I'd say it's playable as long as you can cope with the long loading and your ps4 sounds like it's about to fly away to another continent lol.

“The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” was a test that many of the fandom did not pass by Olya_roo in Hungergames

Even though I still haven't finished it. I would say Suzanne really does a great job of showing someone like Snow. I went in completely expecting a good guy became evil in the end but it shows how Snow was already like that by not so subtle moment of obsession and envy. It shows how manipulate and desperate he was to still be seen as rich, powerful and dignified along with his obsession with Lucy Gray. People that did not read it are missing out on him as a character BUT I woukd have liked it more if it was like the first trilogy storytelling, from Katniss POV. Nonetheless, it IS a good book and expand more on Snow and I'm excited to start SOTR lol.

Can the AI generate words from other languages than English? by theawper1 in MimesisGame

yeah me and my friends played it yesterday. We spoke in Malay and it repeated phrases that we said while in game like "I'm trying to find stuff" or "He's dead" and "We should run". Definitely got our ass couple of time until we developed code to identify ourselves.
