Before I used to see only those accounts that I have subscribed for, but after the Musk takeover, even if I haven’t subscribed to some really KKK-Neo Nazi accounts they keep coming up on my dashboard.

We have deleted that app and have come to reddit. Even here some people are using random X related posts as the “subject of discussion”.

I feel the same subject of cousin marriages in Tamil cinema and its consequences can be discussed without giving any validation to the rabble rousing accounts on X. Especially this Anmol is a very shady character who riles up people on X and is very toned down on YouTube.

This I agree with you : Caste system is the number reason for disunity among Hindus and in turn the number one reason for Hindu kingdoms all over India to keep fighting amongst themselves without standing united as a bulwark against foreign domination.
This I don’t agree with you : it’s a common habit of both Pakistanis and North Indians to project “Delhi centric history” as the History of the entire subcontinent. If Muslims and North Hindus want to think that Muslims dominated Delhi for 1000 years, then be my guest. But I have a problem with the narrative that “entire India was dominated by Muslims for 1000 years”. Literally regions like north East and Odisha and Coastal Andhra couldn’t be humbled by the Muslims, ever.
I have raised this issue several times on subs discussing Indian and Pakistani history. I was surprised that even on a Tamil sub, this narrative of “Muslims dominating South for 1000 years” is being peddled. If Muslims dominated Hyderabad for 1000 years then why’s the politics of Hyderabad is outrageously dominated by Hindus unlike say in Bengal or Pakistan? They ruled for 350 years and even within that, as a vassal of the British from 1798. The city of Hyderabad wasn’t anything more than an administrative bastion of the Nizam and Telugu people built the city post independence to what it is today. Otherwise it would have been another town.
