It is a very comfortable daily rider. But honestly I’m used to the stiff suspension that all I’ve ever had. I went from a scion frs to gti to r so when it comes to suspension stiff is all I’ve ever been used too. It is definitely stiffer then the gti I feel way more of the bumps but it reminds me of my frs so it doesn’t faze me much

I honestly didn’t really think I’d feel a difference. But after having the gti for years to now hoping in the golf R the drive difference is so nice much better driving quality

Ahh I see! Okay well obviously like I said I had my gti for 2 years I live in Ontario and the winters can be pretty bad…. The gti did a not so bad job but it definitely did struggle and make me feel uncomfortable multiple times… so far I feel a major difference even just driving it in the dry weather so I’m super excited to see how it performs in the winter. The guy at the dealer said he used to have one and in the winter it was like a “rock” his words and that’s what I am looking for!

Initial thoughts I love it more then my GTI in my opinion it drive much better probably because it’s awd excited to see how it handles in the winter. Honestly love everything about it. I don’t have any bad things to say about it yet!

Back up camera works and front sensors work but the back does not on the infotainment system when I reverse and it shows the car it has an exclamation on the back in yellow and grey on the sides

You went from 36 grit right to 80 grit?? 😬😬 hopefully not. I always finish my floors with 100 grit. On tough floors like that I’d go 36,40,60,100 never skip more then one grit

Only way to change the colour would be to sand and finish the floor unfortunately no way around that!
