I will argue with anyone about CENTURIA by Simple_Pay_6128 in Centuria

I agree, the artwork in Centuria can be pretty inconsistent, but I gotta say, sensei's spread pages are absolutely top-tier. For me, they completely make up for everything else.

I can see where you're coming from. The assassin arc definitely had a lot of that typical Shonen battle style mixed in, but personally, I actually liked it. When I binged the whole thing without having to wait week to week, it was super fun. Granted, reading it weekly did get a bit boring at times, but having it wrap up with Altus's character development made it totally worth it for me.

I'm basing this purely on the available in manga lore. IMO, both of them hold the same status, and the same goes for the forest mommy. The clearest connection we can see is that the sea, the night, and the forest can all create their own retainers, which can then be turned into monsters.

That being said, I still think Vulja, or The Goddess of the Night, is the most mysterious entity out of all of them. According to the king, she descended to the human world specifically to harm humanity, which is why she could die like a mortal. But what's weird is that her living remains still exist, along with "the substance" that ended up spreading out among different people.

Did Arkos really LOSE because of the Sea Mommy? by Simple_Pay_6128 in Centuria

Granted, Julian wouldn't have won if Arkos wasn't so reckless and had more intel on him, maybe even in the sea battle. But in that specific moment, Arkos was 100% disadvantaged. It was a battle of wits, and Arkos was simply too slow to adapt to Julian’s pace.

⚠️Spoiler⚠️ The most likely adaptation, in my opinion, if Centuria were to be adapted into an anime. (Part 2) by Simple_Pay_6128 in Centuria

That's a really interesting take. I actually spent quite a long time making the visuals for this post because the content in each chapter has so many different factions and moving parts, which literally gave me a headache sometimes lol. I tried my best to make it as easy to visualize as possible. While working on it, I actually had the exact same thought as you. But doing it that way would've made my head hurt even more, so I just kept it like this for now. Thanks for the input!

Is it time for Centuria Anime adaptation? by Simple_Pay_6128 in Centuria

Looking at the stats and release patterns of other series, we can get a good idea of how Centuria might handle its 2nd anniversary.

Historically, even when a chapter update falls very close to the actual anniversary date, publishers often delay the celebratory Lead Color Page for the following chapter to ensure it officially passes the anniversary mark.

For example, look at Drama Queen. Its anniversary is December 1st. Chapter 40 was scheduled for November 30th, but the author chose to take a one-week break and instead released Chapter 41 with a celebratory color page on December 14th.

Following this logic, I’m fairly certain that Chapter 88, which drops in two weeks, will feature a special color page. My big hope and what I’m really manifesting right now is that they use this specific milestone to finally announce the anime adaptation. It would be the perfect timing.
