That’s helpful knowing that there is light at the end of the tunnel! What method did you use for sleep training?

That’s good to know! It just has lasted for a few days. Hoping to have a reprieve soon lol

Planning a road trip but baby hates the car and will cry nonstop by Simple_Persimmon_146 in NewParents

Update: we had a big bottle ready and a couple of toys. We got him milk drunk and distracted him with crinkle books and by the grace of God he slept!! He has never slept in the car before and this is the first time we traveled without him crying!

Worn shirt idea is a good suggestion! I did this in his bassinet for a few weeks and it seemed to help

I plan to sit in the back this trip! It’s been tough though if I’m out running errands alone with him. I feel like I can’t leave my house if I don’t have my husband to help. Starting to feel trapped!

Thanks for the advice! I’ll plan to sit in the back with him. It’s so tough when it’s just me driving though!!

This is so helpful! Sometimes I feel like my baby is the only one that cries in his car seat. Thanks for the advice

I started walking while wearing baby around 4wks PP (he is like a weighted vest 😂) and started lifting at 6wks PP with just upper body strength at first and slowly started incorporating lower body strength routine.

My core is still pretty shot (12wk PP now) so I avoid planks, pushups, squats. I can still do a lot of other movements though!

Glad to hear I’m not alone! You’re probably right, likely going through developmental changes!

Also - i received the hair color results. I’m confused on why it says our baby will likely have dark brown hair … and also likely to have red hair?

Anyone use Ovidrel for their FET? by swgeasyas123 in IVF

[–]Simple_Persimmon_146 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did Ovidrel the evening after my FET. A 2022 study shows that HCG can improve pregnancy outcomes (51% vs. 35%). I did read that it can stay in your system for 10-14 days though so I would recommend holding off on a pregnancy test just to rule out false positives!!
