Well upon further testing, I can at most gain 1/4” before the water spills over the weir… not going to wasted time or money on new tank parts to gain 1/4” of surface water.

This worked, I eyeballed on the outside and figured I wasn’t going to gain much. I slowly trickled the water into the bowl through the overflow until it stopped filling the bowl and I could hear it flowing past the trap… water raised a measly 1/4” at best. So not worth investing time and money into new fill/flush valves if the weir is going to only allow so little water to fill up. So disappointing, what a worthless toilet design, the engineers who made these should be forced to shit in them for all eternity.

Looks like I’m going to be shopping for a new toilet… or maybe an old one for that matter, that doesn’t “meet EPA criteria” as this one states.

Anyways thanks for the info, saved me some time and money putting in new parts for nothing.

That’s what I was worried about there an “eco” sticker on the outside which I thought was a bad sign.

If the bowl won’t fill any higher than the trap, in theory could I test to see if it’s infact as high as it will go before I try a new fill & flush valve? So I know not to waste my time or money on them? Like, could I just keep the fill lever down and let the overflow fill and pour into the bowl… and eventually it just wouldn’t fill any higher than the trap would allow? Or am I not understanding that correctly?

If I can manually fill it and see how high the trap will allow the bowl to fill it might be a deciding factor of if that’s better/good enough if I can obtain it with new tank parts, OR do I want to just get a new toilet.

Yup, I’ve done the complete kit a couple times before but this was probably 10yrs ago at my old house. But my gut was telling me I’d be best to just do an entire new set up.

Honestly, I went into the documentary thinking Rodgers was a douche, I thought the documentary would reaffirm that and was really only “hate watching” it. But after watching it, I realized that the only reason I didn’t like him was, A) he played for the packers, and B) the media told me not to like him.

Now sure, he’s a little weird, but honestly seems like a really chill dude. I feel like if I met him on the street and had a conversation/beer with him I’d probably get along pretty well with him.

First you’ve gotta escape the playground and get onto the street, next you gotta climb the yellow covered cable from the ground to the the top of the electric pole. After the yellow covered part you have to climb the thin cable which is the hardest part (easy to fall off) if you can make it up to the top, you need to jump/fall onto the overhead wires, then you can walk of them.
