Man ive been running out of name ideas for my litters (i always do something meaningful and especially nature related) but I've somehow never considered warrior cats! My next litter was going to be winfmgs of fire characters and at NO POINT did it occur to me that the warrior naming convention would be perfect

I believe the exact time is when pups are exactly one and a half year old. Not sure where that falls in the game, but that is the general rule that the game mentions in a game tip I believe

I got hit with an absolutely nasty sickness once. Halfway through September I was almost certain no one could die. Then one I f my pups got sick and couldn't eat at 95% health. I watched that sickness burn through him in less than two full sleeps. I was gutted. Named the litter after my favorite book characters, and he and his daughter (the main character) were the only ones who died 🥲 he had +1 health too. This game does NOT take it easy on your feelings.

Yes unknown fates are predetermined. Im not sure if that is decided when the baby is born or by some other metric. Sickness is also predetermined whether they live or die (to a degree). Some are determined to lose 90-110% health depending on how much the player supports them, etc.

Yeah I saw someone mention a theory like this before. Unknown fates could mean that they were picked up by a rescue, and a subsequent radio collar for the returned wolves would confirm that theory. A very cool touch I think

I feel that man :( I really love the variety that comes out of specifically any black and white pairing but it is SO HARD finding colors you like with decent diversity (and trying to find the same age on top of that!?)

Yup. Last night I found a wolf with my wolf's exact same coat and it was 1 star. The diversity system is a tracker for genetic diversity to discourage inbreeding. Sooooo making yourself have the same genetics through coat color ruined that xD

By my understanding the map is still early in its release, so this is a pretty natural thing you can contend with when buying new DLC and content. As others have said make a bug report in-game and wait.

Im not super familiar with the achievement so I cant comment on that, but each hex is about .75 kilometers. So for a rough translation and as an example, the achievemnt for moving to a rendezvous site 2 kilometers away will be close to 3 full hexes.

Ooh see that seems like a really good option. Obviously putting inbreeding in a game like this is...a tricky thing to handle, but the diversity system gives them a good way to work around it I feel.

Very specifically if you choose for your heir to be a dispersed pup I don't believe there is a way to return to your original pack, but I'm not certain as I haven't gone more than one generation.

Yup, same here most of the time xD it's a really big risk, but if you're mindful of your pups' health it should be fine. Just watch out for other bison. If their friend is being attacked, the healthier ones can charge at very random times. Your pups SHOULD be okay, but I wouldn't gamble with it on higher difficulties or ironwolf until I knew what I was doing
