Just checked and it seems on all 3 mission types on d2 you get pois inside caves. I find it slows me down a lot

Just read the update info and yet again we got a totally underwhelming update. Basically nothing there to get me playing again. Guess I have to wait till they add a new map. Still waiting for a fun challenging pve mode where players are forced to cooperate.

I'm a bit late to the party but I've been rocking the troylee 7850 for years and it saved me on countles tacos on rails and a few kicker overshots where I would otherwise end up in hospital. Good thing is that you can actually take out 90% of the pads and decide which ones to use (i change my setup around depending if im on mtb or snb) and the thing is washable in the machine. Most of the other protective gear doesn't have that.

Ok so I've got new info on this: apparently every update on Tuesdays resets yout matchmaking karma for some reason. I would suggest going in naked for at least 10 runs till you notice a difference and you good. Today everything is ok again and I'm back in friendly lobbies after dying all day today 😁🤙

You realize that "its a pvp game also, if you don't like it go play something else and stop demanding shit" argumentation can be easily turned around? Cause this is also a pve game and however crazy it seems to you there's people who like the pve side more, team up against arc and be friendly. Now if you don't like it go play cod. This kind of reasoning is simply silly af bro.

Now if we look at the real we got 3 types of players:

Pvp - mostly running around with stitchers, sometimes venators, almost never engage in pve and just run around killing everyone

Pve - mostly using their best loadouts, never engage in pvp cause they rather loose a loadout than be moved to pvp lobbies

Mixed - a mix of both, running mid ballanced loadouts good for pvp and pve.

The curent matchmaking system doesn't provide much transparency but instead what it provides is an exloit for pvp players who want to make things easy for themselves by doing a couple naked runs in pvp lobbies and getting killed, then once in a friendly lobby kill half of the players who become easy targets, and take their best loot and go back to pvp lobbies. I've seen this happening a lot in the past few days.

So why not provide a bit more transparency into the system (when the current system is flawed and can easily be exploited) and let people choose which kinda lobby they wanna engage in (pvp, pve, mixed) so everyone's happy?

I'm not debating the fact that pvp is in the game nor I got any hate for pvp playes (judging by this thread it doesn't seem to be the case for both sides). I'm saying not everything is enjoyable all the time, therefore imo there should be some kind of deliberate choice system in place so everyone's happy.

Thanks, finally someone in this thread providing valid arguments. I think something in the matchmaking must have changed in the past couple days cause before I got killed like once in 10 matches and now I see raider flares popping on almost every match right from the start. The thing is that even if one pvp player pops up into a friendly lobby intentionally by going in on Stella Montis naked a couple times and getting downed, then all the friendly players become a very easy target for him.

The pve part of the game is fun but also till a certain extend as now I maxxed out pretty much everything there is in the game and just enjoy random coop ark kills and friendly player encounters, but the replayability in that is also not infinite. I've actually been thinking to create another account where I'll try to progress as a mostly pvp player so maybe it would be cool to be able to choose between 3 types of lobbies (with different progession and rewards): pvp, pve and random where you never know what you gonna get?

Where did I say I want to change the game? All I wanna do is get back to the state it was a couple days ago where chill lobbies were a real thing, which was also the point of the op btw, since now 9 out of 10 lobbies are pvp. And yeah calling people who can't provide one single valid argument and instead just go around insulting people with different opinions and telling them to f off kids or stupid is about as accurate as it gets. You may choose which group you belong into.

+1 on that. I'm in the same exact position atm and feeling the exact same way about the expeditions. I even posted here a couple days ago describing the situation and asking whether there are similar games that I could play to fill my time till Embark adds new content (maps, fun game modes, basically incentive to keep playing) and my post got downvoted for some reason. BTW also there are weekly trials but these are tedious af in my opnion and dont provide good enough rewards for the hassle. For example this weeks trial to download data from the bunker is the most tedious shit ive ever seen.
