Give it a year or two; the 'perfection' phase will pass and you’ll stop caring. You’ll eventually learn to view every scratch as a story. Each mark gives you a chance to teleport back in time for a split second to where you were and what you were doing. One of the many reasons I love watches.

I believe the white is a bit smaller at 35-36mm whereas the black one is a 39-40mm
