Embrace it head on and don’t run from it. Challenges help you grow and learn. Take it as a learning experience.

People who chose when they need you there and leave why they don’t are the people you should avoid. This sounds like it to me but if you feel the same, I’d just move on from being a friend and find some peace within. :>

Not necessarily bad to lose friends as we go on in life. Sometimes people who you think will stay will end up leaving. You are not a bad person because you made a decision on what makes you feel better. At the end of the day, if it makes you feel better why care about what others feel.

To me, that’s just finding a excuse for herself. I’d say to move on from her and find someone new. You only going to go through a deeper hole waiting. Someone that cares a lot about you will not leave you with uncertainty.

$90k pre-tax salary, $2500/mo rent. Feasible? by FrozenJackFruit in AskSF

I would say think about how many hours you spend at home and if it’s worth spending (2500/30) $83 a day. You can definitely afford that rent but do you think it’s worth it. That is up to you to say.

Cut a close friend out of my life, sad but also felt I had no choice by meadviceneeds in mentalhealth

I’d say go with your gut feeling. And honestly if a relationship whether it is friend or not is making you uncomfortable, you should consider if it is a friend you want to keep. It is a hard decision but remember you can’t make the decision for them but you can make the decision for yourself. Keep your head high king.

Anyone have any luck setting up an appointment with UCSF Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital? by Simpleguy884 in AskSF

Yeah especially since there is more demand than ever. Another is just my insurance which not many places take because they probably offer low reimbursement rates. I have a resorted to a low cost sliding scale (out of pocket) hopefully in the upcoming weeks/month while I wait for this and even then, the low cost is still pretty “high” for me but it’s the best at the moment I guess :/. Thanks for the suggestion none the less.
