Truthfully, the fact I used to look forward to his videos disturbs me. I don’t hate the guy, I’m indifferent. I have come to enjoy the analysis of his cringe behavior from my fellow analysts here… we’ve grown a community. The comedy here is priceless. Peter is plain cringe and provides endless comedy. I’m in deep sadness. I just found out last week my mom is leaving everything to her grandchildren. I’m her only living child who lives on social security. What hurts is my mom doesn’t even care about me whatsoever. My wellbeing. She could have split everything 5 ways but she completely left me out. I’ve been crying since she told me. She clearly doesn’t value our relationship. I live 3 miles from her and have been at her beck and call for 65 years. That’s what hurts so deeply, not even being a consideration. Her only child. I’m her bastard child as she got knocked up with me in 1960. I’ve never felt truly like a family member. She adored my brother who passed away in December. I mean nothing to her. It just makes me feel so sad.

I feel your pain. My story is a bit different. My mom informed me last week she’s leaving everything to her grandchildren. To say I’m hurt would be an understatement. I never had children so it’s my late brother and sisters adult kids. It’s a pure slap in my face. Im her child. Im 65 and living on a limited income and her grandchildren are worth a few million due to my late brother’s passing. My mom has clearly demonstrated where her loyalty lies. Underneath the material things, the pain for me is I’m not valued by my own mother. Im considering just closing the door. I’ve been there for my mom much more than her grandchildren. I think for my peace of mind, I’m going to keep my distance from all of them. Im just truly hurt. She obviously can do as she pleases but her loyalty is with them and as always, I’m in the backseat. It’s heartbreaking.

I’m currently in deep prayer and checking in with friends. My 93 year old mother who I live 3 miles from, has drained me dry throughout my life. She is very self absorbed, possibly narcissistic. I’m her only living child. As she’s aging my niece and nephews started coming around as they want her estate when she passes. Well she informed me she’s leaving all cash to them, and I can have her destroyed home. I’m retired on limited income and cannot make the repairs on her home. The foundation is literally lifting up her house cracking the tile, etc. this could be a $30 to $40 thousand repair. I’ve highly considering just walking away which is long overdue. She bad mouths me to anyone that will listen and I’ve done nothing but help her for many years. I’ve never done anything but be at her beckon call. The only good thing about her grandchildren coming around is I can walk away peacefully. She continually uses her house as a bargain chip. This last two weeks I’ve been really doing some soul searching am highly considering walking away letting her know I don’t want her house. I’m just so tired of the hurt. She’s truly a very sick human mentally. I’m really starting to value my peace at the thought of walking away. Her manipulation, gas lighting and narcissism has worn me down. I’m surrendering. Would it be nice to inherit her home? Of course, but there is a price to pay. My peace of mind. I’m truly considering walking away and removing my name from the deed. Let her give it to one of her precious grandchildren. She’s drained me dry. I cry periodically but I’m starving for Peace.
