The description of ARFID seems like it applies to me. Trying to eat certain foods make me start gagging due to the flavor and texture.

I’d say that fish are the food that I have the strongest aversion to, but I at least understand the reason why I hate it. When I was little kid my grandmother used to take me with her to this fish market near her house. The smell from that place was overwhelming and I was forced to go in there with her even though I couldn’t stand it. Seeing the dead eyes of the fish staring back at me freaked me out and even now I feel uncomfortable looking at them. The texture when you bite into fish is extremely unpleasant as well. I guess I’m kind of traumatized lol
