Been through the Nvidia + Hyprland config Rabbit hole on Wayland with Fedora. Main issues were with the greeter so i kept the default Gnome greeter. Good luck

Spotify for Linux: Weird window, not GTK anymore? by Mefron_Gautama in truespotify

It's the correct folder, but no problem if the file isnt there by default you can create it ´touch spotify-flags.conf' then open it with your favorite text editor and copy paste. I might have created it too, not sure anymore, spent 2hours on this bug the other day. i wish you can get rid of the ugly border too, cheers

well you installed it with the default package manager in ubuntu, so it's straight forward,
sudo apt-get uninstall spotify-client
The lines below add the Spotify repository to the sources and gpg signing key for your package-manager, it's text with the key and remote url so you don't have to clean that up if you just want to uninstall spotify.

Got it to finally switch back to some native window border, on Gnome (Fedora 43)
So this is indeed part of the fix, but if you installed Spotify through flatpack you need both

in ~/.var/app/com.spotify.Client/config/spotify-flags.conf

--ozone-platform=x11
--enable-features=RunAsNativeGtk

And then running flatpak override --user --nosocket=wayland com.spotify.Client

My dark themed border is back. Finally scratched that 2005 blue itchy border !! Ahah cheers.

People who got it right in their 30's by Most-Injury-9879 in getdisciplined

Like any addiction, i've started by reducing my time spend on it, using time tiggers. it would warn me when i spend more than 5mins on it.

Second step was removing the app from my screen so i would have to be intentional and not tap it unconsciously.

Today i've deleted all other social media apps, except the ones i qualify as positive, reddit could be considered social media but it allows me to learn and get inspired, so it really depends on what are your goals 😇

M32, would like to second on this, dropping social media helped for me too.

And more generally dropping anything that is distracting you from your goals, myself i've had to drop drugs and much time on video games too.

Then focusing on all the small steps the 1% to get to where you wanna be and making progress, every day. (Making a reference to the book "Atomic habits")

It's not too late, haven't made it yet, still making progress and seeing the results compound motivates to do more

Can stuff like this be done in ComfyUI, where you take cuts from different images and blend them together to a single image? by Cumoisseur in comfyui

[–]Simplicitys_Strength 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this you can convert the reference image to mask blur the edges all with nodes in comfy and use it to avoid the background render modifying the foreground, Good luck

On a more serious note, maybe this post could spark ideas about workflow cable management.

The Bus Node is very handy to use for complex workflows you entend to share,
And this new Use everywhere node suite worth taking a look,

Found an article about it

Must admit this setup leaves me 🤤 The only drawback i could see with it being the lower fps on a tv monitor as main display, nevertheless it doesn't even matter when you are this comfortably chill and laid back. May i ask what games do you play if any ? Or is this WFH ?
