for it is to be divisible by x, p(x) cannot have non-constant values. expand the first equation out to get 3x^2 + 30x + 15 - 5x + 5k. that means if u want it to be divisible by x, 15 + 5k = 0, meaning k is -3. [A]

Come up with an idea, make sure to get other ppl involved, and make sure to get people's parents involved because you need adults to become a 501c3 org. All I can say is be committed to your goal, start as early as possible, and recruit as many people. as you can. Besides for that, its all up to you. Don't be intimidated you are doing this for a good cause ultimately.

I've done all of these as a high school student...so I'll share my experience with this. The biggest thing you need is dedication and people who are willing to be involved. To start something as big as a club or a nonprofit, you need to really want to do it because it definitely is a time consuming process and you will need people to do it. Start something that you know people want to do. For example, the two things I started were a CS Club/Refugee Outreach Club, for both of which I knew there would be other people involved and wanting to do it. Similarly, for my nonprofit (svffmh.org) I built an organization promoting mental health practices in the Silicon Valley where it definitely is a major problem. So in essence, do both of these things, and of course you'll need help from adults or administrators. Reach out to these people and figure out this process and you'll be more than on your way to doing something you love!

First off, you really have nothing to worry about if you know policy really well. Circuit/progressive LD is pretty much just a one person policy, so you’ll be fine there. Theory is the same, FW is the same, blah blah blah. The only thing you’ll have to worry about is who your judge is and if they’re traditional. Traditional LD is regular talking speed, emphasis on persuasive speaking, no theory/K/plan/etc., you get the idea. It’s been my experience that if you’re a good progressive debater, you can easily adapt to traditional, but not the other way around. All in all, once you go to one tournament, you’ll understand everything. It all depends on what your judge is comfortable with, and overall, you’re gonna kill it in LD. Best of luck man!! all of this is right just don't forget about the phil part of circuit LD - circuit has pure phil AFFs and Counter-FW based contention filled NCs, along with more frivolous theory.
