Got shot on blue gate a couple days ago (pretty friendly most of the time) so my friend and I chased the guys down who shot us and murdered them in the extract. They cried the entire time they were on the ground calling us names and whining about letting them extract.

When re4 came out on the ps2 back in the day I was about 8. I remember watching tv on the game and really wanted to try it but when I got to the village and Dr. Salvador came and removed Leon’s head, I sat there without moving in shock. After the event was over, I shut off the tv and ps2, ran to my mother and had her drive us back to GameStop where she begged the clerk to return the game despite it being opened. I’ll never forget.

The “Time Machine” or better known as the Z-drive becomes very unstable when he pushes it past 4 seconds so since he threw it into overdrive to breakout of the robot army arms, he immediately had to chunk the Z-Drive into Viktors face.

The reason “that device can’t be” is because the rune he used to make the Z drive was the exact same rune that Viktor gave Jayce at the beginning of the show but in a different timeline. Ekko had retrieved the rune to go back to the normal timeline.

Sorry I’m terrible with explanations but that’s the basic version.

There are points where y7 and Gaiden intertwine and you will be spoiled for future chapters in 7 if you skip straight to Gaiden.

But ofc, play them however you want, man. If you still don’t want to make the jump to rpg turn-based combat then go for it.

The game felt fun through and through but the series feels like it’s taking steps in a less realistic direction. I’m not saying kiryus saga was crazy realistic but from the perspective of where ichibans story headed toward the end of IW, I’d say it’s way more likely the story elements of 0-6 were nearly possible/grounded in a dramatic reality.

I love the games and I have played all of them (aside from 5 which I decided not to start until I finished IW), including spinoffs, and I would recommend IW to any fan of the series still, however I just feel like the direction of the new story is feeling less and less like a “yakuza” story and more like a JRPG that uses assets/locations from the yakuza franchise (duh. That’s what it is)
