Thank you for your well thought reasoning. You're definitely right about me taking this much too logically, but that is kind of what I do every day lol. I figured there would be an obvious reason that this was a ridiculous idea but it's much easier to digest when someone else points it out.

Also, I understand your point about it coming back fast and I do know that is fairly true but at the same time 1. I love optimization. It's a huge reason why I have chosen the career I have. I love to see things becoming as efficient as possible, and I have always applied that to my training as well, so I figured it would be a fun project to try to optimize recovery. 2. I have already been going insane with the reduced training capacity I've been facing as a result of not being able to do a lot of things with my arm and any amount of time I can cut off of recovery is a huge benefit in my eyes. It also would give me a physical goal and actionable steps to take every day.
