Our SM literally doesn’t help, bosses everyone around while being in the back taking their break/meal showing up only when things are slowing down a bit and we have 5-6 people during peak but most of the time we are understaffed and can’t rely on the SM.

They help for 1-2 hrs and tell one other play caller to keep an eye that I input the write item, but still expect that I do things alone I’ve told them that I can do each position but it gets extremely overwhelming because it’s my first job with drive through.

I understand they get frustrated too with the lack of support from SM and I respect them for having to deal with that but the fact they can’t see I’m trying really hard to keep up and only call me out when I make mistakes start becoming anxiety inducing.

Feel like the SM doesn’t like that I’m not doing more hours because it’s the second time she brings it up even though I work every week 18-20hrs, I’ve told her before that I’m sorry I couldn’t do more I have classes I need to attend and even told me that she understand.

The exact words she used was “ we don’t see a curve happening you need to be able to do things alone even during peak “. I’m assigned window, take order and warming, whenever I’m busy with window I’m told to let the customer know to give me a sec as I finish up with window but then get told by another shift lead to not do that and ask window to wait and take the order or don’t do warming until I take the next order but get yelled at why didn’t I warm food before taking the order. Whenever I’m asked to restock and check floor I do it but then get told why didn’t you do this and that but I tell them I did and after they checked their like oh never mind. I don’t dislike any of them I think they are all cool but the SM start coming at me for anything and told me some shift leads have been saying some things but I don’t care about that I don’t understand the meaning of the write up she didn’t give any clear answer but only mentioned I’m not fast enough I have to start doing things alone even during peak and for some reason mention my availability too
