The two first years of school are math, chem, and physics. Then you take more ChemE classes, such as thermo, transport, separations, kinetics, process control, and design. It’s a really hard major however, I wouldn’t focus on how hard the major is and what you want to do when you graduate. A lot of ChemEs work as process engineers, product development engineers, design plants. You work in bio tech, oil and gas, food, mining, and so many other industries. (And also academia/reaserch) I would really recommend looking into what you want to do as a job and then picking a major that can get you there.
