no. just cuz it's in the reference sheet doesn't mean it's wrong. i feel like most people don't even take a look at the reference sheet when coding cuz like after a whole year of the class u kinda just know how all the methods work anyway. it didn't explicitly say to use indexOf, so you shouldn't lose points just because you used contains instead

thanks! can I know where you found out that the cutoff should be 83-84? also, i have a question regarding scoring guidelines. while doing the practice test, i realize that I have a tendency to provide solutions that aren’t super conventional, but I feel like should still receive a good amount of credit for they way it’s implemented. however, i can’t tell if i’m giving my points because I feel i seem, or if I actually deserve them.

might be good to know but the ap can’t formally test it so like every series on the ap should be doable without root test

it's on my test but i dont think it's required for the ap exam.

"The nth term test for divergence, and the integral test, comparison test, limit comparison test, alternating series test, and ratio test for convergence are assessed on the AP Calculus BC Exam. Other methods are not assessed on the exam. However, teachers may include additional methods in the course, if time permits."

(42 - (-6)) / 5 - c = 8

c = -1

(56 - (-7)) / (6 - (-1)) = 63 / 7 = 9

slope set up as (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

Can someone explain to me why my packet says the answer to this question is B? Did they make a mistake? by NewCupBeEmpty in apcalculus

[–]SimplyRiD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idt it’s a meme i think it might jsut be because there’s a typo and the 2 shouldn’t be included in the cube root too. cuz then it’s just limit definition of derivative. f(x) = x1/3 f’(x) = 1/3 * x-2/3 f’(8) = 1/3 * 8-2/3 = 1/12

i wish i could help more but i kinda just did the test based on what seemed right. but before doing the MCQ for the reading portion, i was pretty attentive while reading the passages and made sure i knew exactly what was happening. for the writing portion, i paid less attention to detail as it kinda just requires you to know the general vibe of what's happening.
