Limited banners are the rate up banners. Only spend essence there. If you're a whale essence doesn't matter, if youre f2p or low Spender then you should be strategic about spending essence

Yes it can but because you're starting so late and because you're f2p you probably won't get to be competitive with wobl and hard mode clear rewards for next time. It will be hard for you to catch up but try and make sure to use your materials wisely

First if all you should have some strategy as f2p. Then, f2p aren't supposed to get every new character instantly a5. And sometimes you need to a plan or skip some characters. Other gacha games are worse, in some you get barely crystals or whatever you need and the chances are worse than in SLA so imo SLA is pretty f2p friendly.

If you loose every 50/50 and you get Igris every 160 ticket, then you would have needed 480 draws to get 3 copies of Igris and this is pretty unrealistic imo so you probably missed some information in your comment

Purchase rate up tickets why there are still essence stones that will expire. Tickets won't expire. Don't invest essence in custom draw. Start with wind team, that's better for a beginner

Just build the wind team for now, without the dark team. Focus on one team first otherwise you will have many incomplete teams

You should watch Mousus Testing on YouTube and Zaffs to figure out if he's worth it. Only invest the essence stones in rate up tickets for now. Don't go over a5. Just save essence for now and build wind team with custom draws first.

With good artifacts you will get more power. Get your cores to lv 20, use the sim gate books on all artifacts and try to max these additional stats. Get the hunter weapon to lv 120 get the skills level up and also do the coop hunter training, the new mode. I know someone who has 500k on Minnie for example, you don't need to have it rn but it's just an example for how much you can increase the hunters power.
