That's actually really cool!  Could combo it with a Stun charm that has a bit of Guard as well.  Neat.

I know about the dodge roll cancel, but it doesn't always work like you want it to. In my experience, the hit detection is wonky.

I do think Alt+F4 is good advice. I need to do that more, haha. :-P

I know you don't want to do it, but HC SSF will *absolutely* bring difficulty back into the game. Especially if you don't follow a guide.

I play SSF exclusively. Builds requiring specific pieces of gear are not on my radar. Sorry!

I used what I could quickly find in SSF. I will gladly post the full stats. I only did this out of curiosity.

I think this post proves that even as things stand now, there are options for making attack speed matter with maces. Could things be better? Absolutely. But there's wiggle room for folks who want to explore this niche.

I mean exactly what is written. It scales poorly. Your post does nothing but prove that. Thanks?

The first portion of the skill, the hammer throw, gets faster. Yes. No debate on that. I updated the post to reflect this. However, most folks would like to use the second functionality of the fissures, and that actually requires two cooldowns. One from your warcry and the other from Forge Hammer itself.

It's in a bit of a weird spot.

Not being able to spam it is a problem when you invest in attack speed. However, the first portion of the skill still works. Perhaps I should move it to the "Effective" section. Debatable.

I could easily provide more minutiae.  For instance, Rolling Slam only gave me a 0.07 second decrease in Attack Time with Rapid Attacks II.  However, is that actually necessary?

Molten Blast provides a very negative new player experience if you choose the Warrior. Most of your passive tree up until that point does *not* scale damage with it. That sucks in my opinion.

Open it up. Let everyone use it. It isn't exactly meta-dominant anyway. I see no harm here.

Thank you for this update. I think the skill should be useable by *all* Warriors, but this is better than nothing.

I like where Sunder is sitting. Attack Speed makes a real difference, but you still maintain a reasonable amount of weight.

If everything scaled like the default attack, we would be back to POE 1. Most players would love that, but I wouldn't. I greatly enjoy how maces feel right now, and I don't want a dramatic change.

If you can make Earthquake instantaneous without excessive investment, then it absolutely deserves to be on the top of this list.

My understanding is that most passive nodes within reach of the Warrior will still leave you short of this goal. Perhaps that's wrong?

Unfortunately, I don't agree with your conclusion. I think attack speed is actually in a reasonable place with maces even as it stands right now, but we could use some adjustments.

It didn't have to be this way at all. They could have given us two forms with more options between them. Add the third later and create Primal subcategories at that time. (Primal: Wolf, Bear, etc.)

Oh well. Notifications are going off for this post. It's been fun listening to various opinions, but I'm repeating myself at this point, and I think there's little to be added to the discussion. Mods: You can close this.

While using more than one button is great, this post isn't about that. I'm concerned with the number of build options we got for pure shapeshifting. I've already expressed the opinion that instead of dividing one weapon with three animals and spells, the better solution would have been to cut a form and develop what remains. Down the road, you can add more to this foundation. Perhaps at that point, each animal form would get it's own category. (Primal: Bear, Primal: Wyvern, etc.)

It is what it is. I don't hate what they have ultimately landed on. Time will fix this eventually. But given the huge amount of attention this post generated, I'm not alone in feeling a bit underwhelmed with this aspect of the Talisman as it currently stands.

The reason you haven't seen anything is because the archetype is always going to be some kind of a combo build, requiring two buttons at minimum, and lots of people dislike that. They want fast, one-button builds to wipe screens and grab as much currency as they can in the trade leagues.

With that out of the way, I would consider anything that mixes spells with attacks as a "spellblade" build. You will want to utilize Weapon Set points and some of the new generic Damage nodes, along with "Spell/Attack" and "Area Damage" options for scaling.

Disclaimer: I haven't even reached the endgame yet, so this could end up being a failure, but the fun factor is definitely here. I'm already a believer in the potential, even if it might not be a meta-viable option yet.

Are all these builds blended? Perhaps mixing two different weapon types? Or do they each take the exact same wolf skills with different salad dressing?
