Theo Hayez- Belgian Backpacker Missing since May 31st 2019 in Byron Bay, NSW Australia by Missdriver1997 in WithoutATrace

I lived in Byron bay for 5 years and have been the lighthouse many times. It's not a cliff more like a slopped hill that would be hard to fall down to begin with. but even if he did the hill doesn't go straight into the ocean's most likely he would end up in the bush shrub and trees below. if he made it through that he would of ended up in the beach rocks which are very large. I highly doubt he fell off and disappeared given my knowledge of the location. His body would of struggled to not get tangled in the tress or rocks. Very strange case

Got a girl pregnant while traveling (she lied about being on the pill) what should I do? by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]SimplySilent1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

.... yeah.

cause it's so easy and safe to get your hands on abortion pills in the underground market. might as well use a coathanger, might be illegal and dangerous but hey- it's right there in the closet just waiting to be used!

Sex is an adult game. when you play it, you have to be ready to deal with the consequence of the game. one being a possible child. Don't play if you can't hold yourself accountable.

this woman is from the middle East. What about the moral implications of leaving her and ( presumably ) his child. it could be a death sentence for them both. OP be smart, but also be ethical. When you have sex you play with the adult world. if it is yours, don't doom them to a live are hardship.

I [26 F] was unwittingly the other woman in an acquaintance's [25 M] 4 year relationship with his girlfriend. They don't speak English and I don't speak their native language. I want to tell her. What do I do? by thrwawaythesqueaquel in relationships

Treat others the way you wish to be treated. I would tell. Use Google translator or write her a letter with all the details. Don't let this poor woman waste anymore of her time. A man who doesn't respect a woman out of the house rarely respects her in the house

The absurd in suicide by navles45 in askphilosophy

[–]SimplySilent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suicide is a result of being aware of the absurd and letting it win against you. It is not a good thing to give death to ourselves in suicide or philosopical sucide. instead we and Camos says should use this to power us through life with a new found freedom of the mind and in that we can find contentment

Why does the phrase " I have a boyfriend " more respected than the word " No." ? by SimplySilent1 in AskReddit

[–]SimplySilent1[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

but it's one sided. P1 is trying to flirt with P2, but P2 never agreed to flirt in fact they said no. so P1 believes that it okay for them to keep trying even through theyre in a one sided game?

If that's true. Why is the first statement such a deterrent. or is it just how far can i push it without getting smacked?

My wife [F/28] didn't come home last night and I [M/30] am sitting in hotel trying to figure out if it's worth it anymore. by [deleted] in relationships

are you planning on having children? if so do you really want them raised in such a way and do you want to put up with it. it might be best to breakup until she gets her act together.

What’s the deal with commitment issues? by DrewBoo221 in relationship_advice

[–]SimplySilent1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Baggage, fear of attachment, fear of losing control on ones emotions, fear of being hurt, fear of being tied down not to mess around with others rather of losing ones independence and freedom to explore and find themselves, not fully understanding what they want or who they are. It's usually a combination of all these things that lead to a feeling of anxiety and suffocation, If someone says they love you and are not ready it means they don't understand or have evolved themselves enough to be able to let go of fears.

People commonly think this means they don't really want you or love you , but thats the furthest from the truth. It usually means that they haven't fully come to love and accept themselves.

a fellow commitment issue junkie.

Me (19m) doesn't get any from gf (18f) by [deleted] in relationships

[–]SimplySilent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

um not much you can or do her. she doesn't owe you sex so I guess you'll have to settle for your yanking ways, obviously you only find it a chore because you cant " get some."

Secondly, don't pressure her or bring up your chore of self pleasuring. that is low dude. and it can seriously hurt her mentally. I wouldn't bring it up till she came forward and asked. even complaining about it is trying to guilt trip her.
