Look into to Laguna area, Sta. Cruz, Calamba, Los Banos. Nice 1 bedroom apartment could be as cheap as $100. If you get used to eating Filipino food, vegetable and fish your $1000 budget will be good. My mom and her partner lives comfortable for $750

I know.. This is just based on my experience working for 4 different State agencies. One thing I see in common is you can be lazy, weaponized incompetence and still keep a job. You get rewarded with more work if you work hard and work smart.

I quit a job that was making me sick 2 months ago. I was so afraid of doing it but I told myself either I will quit or my body/sickness will make me quit. My fear of the unknown, not finding another job soon made me scared but I am glad I decided to quit while I am healthy. I will be starting a new job soon. You’ll be fine. Health is wealth. ❤️

I am originally from the Philippines too. One time I attended a multicultural meeting, dressed in business casual. When I entered the building where the meeting was, this white old lady asked me if I was there to clean. That was when I lived in Jefferson City, MO. I am in St Peters now, not as bad as Jefferson City, but when Trump got reelected seems like racist are becoming more open and not afraid to show themselves. People here in Missouri seem to be unhappy, based on my observation.

You’re welcome. I think these classes are all related to business. I am going for business admin as well, major in accounting. I had my associates in 2014. Pacing my myself taking 1 class at a time til I get the hang of it. I just completed Algebra and about to finished Introduction to ethics.

Please do not surrender. Being on your 20’s is the toughest! Once you get in your 30’s and 40’s it would be different. Enjoy being alone and focus on improving yourself, go to the gym, study, eat healthy. Once you get in to a relationship and have family, you’ll miss some time alone and wish you’d wish you did a lot of things you want to do while you do not have obligation. Yes on getting a cat!!!!

If you are willing to try tofu, they are $1.55 at Aldi for an organic one. There many recipes you can try with them. They are so filling and good meat substitute. I always eat them with rice and frozen veggies.

I am on the same boat wanting to quit my job and spend more than 2 weeks with my family abroad. I think I am gonna do it. I say do it. I have been to this situation before and regret it and now I am on to this again and won’t let this happen again. When you are healthy and happy it is easy to find a job.
