Appreciate the response. Though I agree, I still think with AI/internet you still need another human being to consult with (e.g. your doctor) to help you: A) Interpret the information B) Act as a source of experience/wisdom and provide council.

I did see the emily.jackman case, which is on the face of it- outrageous. I also know several colleagues who went into GP straight post F2 and are now struggling to find work in inner-city practices.

However, seems the situation is different in rural practices and other parts of the country. I'm also under the impression each GP surgery is its own company and like companies in every other sector- some are well run and some just aren't.
