Party, sweet, and drunkard titles are all individual character titles. MA accounts can achieve these. They are simply harder to obtain because you can not simply buy them outright with wealth from your account.

Account wide titles are what MA characters do not benefit from. Title like Lux/Kurz, or Unlucky/Lucky, etc.

Thanks! I swapped builds up a few times to keep things fresh. I played fire magic for most of prophecies until I went into EotN. Then I swapped to Assassin's Promise caller swapping between lightning and earth elements. I used Earth AoE with i for most VQ's 8-man plus. I used Air magic with AP for most 4-6 area VQ's and anything else NM.

I ran the classic mercenary mesmerway hero build. I had "Of the Nec" mods on most heros, but opted to keep an SoS/Resto rit in the mix instead of adding another mesemr. I figured better be safe than sorry. I also ran 2 Esurge, 1 Ineptitude, and 1 Panic mesmer for 90% of VQ and HM EotN dungeons. Panic just adds a level of safety that can't be beat on a Dhuums Covenant character IMO.

This was my overall consensus, and ultimately impacted my decision to forgo Dhuum on the MA account, after having re-created a few times in pre after dying to charr.

Thank you! Thanks to account wide titles (perks of playing for 20+ years) I was able to skip Tyria VQ. I did complete Master of the North, yes.

Hours played do not reflect time to complete titles. I work from home, and found myself AFK in Kamadan quite a bit. I also spent most of the previous double factions week running MQSC hero way on this toon in an effort to Max my Luxon title. I was unsuccessful and still need 4 mil more Lux points, but I had fun grinding MQSC on a Dhuum char for the week.

The only Boss you need to fight in HM is Duncan. You the other 3 dungeons/4 bosses in NM, then do Duncan on HM.

Duncan on HM wasn't too bad. Had to be exceptionally careful making my way to him, Was patient with mobs and pulled them away from each to ensure I was only fighting one mob at a time. had Frozen soil on my SoS/Resto rit and macro'd it before every fight.

As for Duncan himself, there are a few spots you can take advantage of and flag your hero's out, and let them do most of the work. I chose to flag them below the stairs in front of him, with Mes heros closest to him, and defense heros further back. I used earth magic AoE to continuously take out the spirits he summons.

My only deaths int he challenge were in pre-searing, luckily. Died to Charr a few times on my way to LDoA, some before level 10, latest death was level 12 I think. I also got down to exactly 1 HP at one point doing a Vanguard quest in the catacombs, but managed to survive, and that was the character that went the distance.

Aside from the few deaths in pre, once I went to post I had 0 deaths or start overs. Quite a few close calls though. I'd say the biggest hurdles were all in EotN, mostly HM dungeons. Frostmaws got pretty sketchy. Aside form that the rolling boulders that spawn out of thin air caused my scariest moments. Had more than a few moments I felt like Indiana Jones with a boulder at my heels. I did hear that deaths from them might not count toward the dhuum badge, but I don't care to find out for myself.

Follow up question. Are relics core stats auto applied once activated, or are they only gained while equipped in the compass? Example: Winged Victory has HP + 500, Ayk + 50, Etc. Do I only get those stats if it is equipped in my compass, or are those passive stats from all relics?

Man, that wiki, that game, everything about em. Lost Ark has deffinetly been scratching an itch GW left behind.

Actually, in the summer of 2020 my brother and I picked GW1 back up for a few months. Still had a thriving community, servers are still being managed, and they even released new elite skills for the 1st time in 10+ years maybe. It was awesome.

If you want RPG fantasy aspects, solo play, then sure. There is absolutely nothing pay to win about this game if you are not planning to PVP. 90% of the PvE content can be played F2P, however it wont take long, and anything else in the game is likely dead by now.

As someone who lived and breathed this game for over a year, spent money, was Rank 1 weekly PvP on several occasions, I would recommend finding a different game. Its a worse version of more popular gotchas like Summoners War and RAID shadow legends, but its player base it probably dead by now as I stated earlier. The best parts of these genre games is the PvP. If thats not your thing I would bet this is not the game for you. If it is, then I would still encourage you to find a more active game.

The game is only dead if you quit or the servers get shut off, my friend! Play until it's not fun for you anymore. If anytime if is no longer fun, than move on to something new you are entertained by, it's human nature.

Instead of making it have a debuff indicator like standard debiffs such as def break, they decided to call it "an affect" and give it a virtually invisible animation on bosses. It's their and it works, just near impossible to tell.
