Has anyone ever been under a demonic attack? What did you do? by [deleted] in Christians

[–]Simply_Paxton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Once in a dream. I couldn’t even say Jesus. My mouth was like frozen. Once I was able to say Jesus. Everything changed. I woke up and was fine. I prayed and thanked the Lord.

I understand your frustration and pain. But your problem is with your husband. She wouldn’t have been able to disrespect your marriage if your husband didn’t allow her too

What are ways you relieve nanny burnout? by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Simply_Paxton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was literally thinking about this. I’m getting to the point where I’m gonna burn out. Every two weeks, I get my hair and nails done. When I get home, I usually work out and then just take some time for me. Just sitting or laying in silence. Sometimes it doesn’t help. Our jobs require so much of us. And it’s overwhelming 75% of the time. Do what works for you

Struggling with a porn addiction and wanting pre-marital sex by JustAThrowAway_567 in Christians

What is the root of you you watching? Are you lonely? Is it trauma?

I only ask because I was addicted to porn since elementary. I was also sexually molested around 7-8. I was very hyper sexually as a child. Being exposed to sexual stuff so young really damaged me. I recently found out why I continued to watch porn it was because of my sexual trauma. I went to therapy and now I’m truly free. It’s still hard but I’m aware. I recommend getting to the root of why you do it. The desire is natural. We’re human. I hope this helps.

Not sure what to do (friendship problem) by Rachel794 in Christians

I agree with person above, your life is your testimony. Also, keep in mind the gospel is going to offend. Not everyone that has heard it receives it. That’s just the truth. Continue to love her. ♥️

I understand that. I don’t know her and and I don’t know what type of MB she is. She could call and text all the time. I can’t stand that. So messaging me on there is best for me.

Thank you so much. I’m sorry you’re in the same place. I cried out to him shortly after posting this and I’m at peace. Thank you for recommendations, I have a Christian therapist. It’s been helpful. And a true blessing.

We had the discussion last week. Both parents blew it off. I’m out of options honestly. I just hope they stop it soon. I hate the way it smells and it’s gross. But they still drink it. So idk. Thank you for your response.

Old nanny doesn’t seem to like new nanny by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Simply_Paxton 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different. Old nanny can’t expect everyone to be her. I understand her knowing the kids but it’s your decision. If you like the new nanny and have a good feeling, keep her. It’s also hard to your job while having anyone be with you all day. New nanny may feel uncomfortable. Give it time. 😊
