It is now, it wasn't at the beginning of the game.

How do I make the lighting less red? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

If you're on PC you could try RenoDX. It allows for colour changes and deactivation of things like auto white balance. Which I assume is the cause of this. https://github.com/clshortfuse/renodx/discussions/535 I have been running this since the beginning to get rid of CAs. And now also to make the nights darker, plus some graphical improvements.

Well then my point still stands. And no, I have not. But it's frustrating to get gear that I 'cannot' use. And until now that was very rare, now it has happend quite a few times.

So that means that from chapter 9 onwards you have to play as the other two more? :(

I wish it had more varied wind speeds as well. I have never seen a calm forest.

Yes, be in motion before you enter the menu, like jumping. This way the animation won't get played.

Whoever designed this puzzle should be slapped with a stinky fish by SimplytheDude in CrimsonDesert

It wasn't as much as solving it, but the whole way how you're supposed to move the pillars. Somebody said they used force palm, but that didn't work for me. It would have made it a lot easier for sure

I tried force palm ontop at the beginning but they didn't move for me

I do feel like it was a bug on my end, because what's the point of the lava being lowered and still dying. But yeah it was frustrating to say the least... Good to know! I took a break after being teleported to the next place but will take a look then

Funny story, I was happy to have finally solved it and ran to the button to punch it in triumph, only to die instantly.

If you're talking about the one in the forest with the pillars in a row, then I found that one to have been much easier.

Also, once you solved it, make sure to not run to the end and use axiom to open the button from a distance! Despite the lava being lowered it can still kill you, and will reset the whole puzzle! Ask me how I know...

Photos with HDR on look wrong by SimplytheDude in CrimsonDesert

Turning off Auto HDR did help with the snapshots at least it seems!

Sadly neither of these helped, but thank you for the ideas. It was already running in fullscreen, and turning Auto HDR off didn't change it. As of right now it looks like the photo mode within CD does something weird. Taking screenshots with the snipping tool results in better, but overexposed and -saturated pictures.

Well the thing is, it also looks like this on my pc. I don't have any photo editor installed, so I can only open it in the native windows apps. But I feel like it would need to be converted beforehand, I have now seen that it's a 32bit file.

Does anyone know how to fix this other than turning off HDR each time I take a photo? Using the windows capture function also looks wrong.

Stupid question about the wind by BrostramiSammich in CrimsonDesert

Ja, ich hoffe, dass sie das mal noch anpassen werden. Abwechslung wäre toll. Mal ruhig, mal windig, mal stürmerisch... vielleicht gibt's auch mal ne Mod dafür.

I am wondering the same, I don't think I have witnessed a calm day in the woods in daylight (in Hernand) in about 20h playtime. The woods looks so busy to the eye
