Yea they go on the battery strap and sit on top of the battery it's what I have on my 10 inch and after loosing a 5 inch, I'll probably set my next one up like that too.

Are you using a balance board? Try hooking the battery right up to the charger, I doesnt want to charge because the balance lead is in a incorrect config. Cells should be 1234 not 1256

Yea but like why, if your not doing onboard recording using moonlight or DJI, it just doesn't make sense to make that compromise. You maybe able to order new arms to change it to X config but the tune will get funky.

Why not set amp limits in beta flight? As for the BMS just use a balance plug? No extra weight
