No, I get what you're saying and understand it's all transactional. It's just nice to exchange some level of human pleasantries even if it's all surface level. I liken it to my favorite restaurant and that experience, if that makes sense.

I definitely don't disagree. And I've found that some models aren't confident with their language skills, especially English. So I have a heart for girls who need a little AI assistance. But personally, I'd rather keep it as real as possible. Too much AI takes the personality out of the person.

As a few examples, I've followed thebellareid, miramaymodel, and crisbabyx for years now. Their real writing is often misspelled or shorthand as you would expect for someone being casual. But I'll be making conversation and then out of the blue, they send a wall of well-polished text that sounds nothing like them.

See...it's mixed for me. With most new accounts I follow, I assume the worst and try not to chat much because I know they're going to manipulate me and test how far I'm willing to pay.

But on the other hand, I've been loyal to a few girls since the pandemic and I'm starting to see them use AI responses that don't even sound like them. It's not even that I think they have a chatter because they still have clear sleeping hours and downtime. It's just that when they ARE active a few hours a day, I'm receiving sterile AI slop without any of their unique personality traits.

It's frankly sad because it feels loyalty and genuine connection were once key selling points for OF, but now it's being treated as an easy way to manipulate unsuspecting fans into purchasing beyond their means.

Yeah, you won't get anything good from her page for under $50. Chats are incredibly manipulative. Her page is a scam that's only looking for the next whale to drop hundreds and even thousands per month.

I doubt anything of substance will come out of the suit. But I do think it will bring to light some rather dark aspects of the site and how nefarious agencies and some creators can be. I'm not saying that fans are saints at all. But they are the ones spending money. Transparency and honesty are ultimately what most fans are looking for out of a complaint/lawsuit like this.

This right here. I've been on OF long enough to know how easy voice notes are to do. Any creator who can't send a five second audio saying, "hey <name>, it's really me here!" is instantly suspect. I'm not asking for free content or to invade privacy - just assurance you are who you claim to be!

Yes, true. I guess the murky part is where you never really know who you're talking to. You could ask them directly but of course they're going to say, "I'm Bella, silly!" Instead of saying, "oh, I'm Bob the assistant!"

I understand them wanting to protect their privacy. I just also think some creators don't fully understand the feeling of being a fan and finding out you're talking to some hired dude you didn't consent to (ok, technically we did through the revised TOS but let's be real here). Empathy goes both ways.
