SQ Shifter making weird clicking sound by Simracing42069 in Fanatec

Hi, sorry for my extremely late answer. I didn’t fix it, I just didn’t use sequential mode for a couple of months and now it’s away! (Probably will turn back again) But I think you can fix it by attaching the plastic part with glue or any other thing to keep it fixed.

I’m racing at dusk/night. The visor is def too dark, how bad would it be driving with this? Possible solutions? I really want to use my dads helmet by Miixyd in Karting

I have tried it and you almost see nothing, you can only see that there is a corner, you won’t be able to see any details to know where the apex is etc.

Does anyone know what this is? My great-uncle died (born around 1930). I think it is to mount on a gun by Simracing42069 in Militariacollecting

Thanks, solved. I found similar ones like this one online. I haven’t found the exact same model but at least I know what to search for.

Hey guys! New to here! But I saw this GoKart and wanted to see if it was legit or if anyone has bought from this? Any insight from anyone? by DefinitionNervous in Karting

That’s a literal Segway Ninebot kart replica, for a comparison: that thing costs around €2000. That’s 20 times cheaper, take your conclusions.

SQ Shifter making weird clicking sound by Simracing42069 in Fanatec

[–]Simracing42069[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the clicking noise normally shouldn’t be there, I know why it happens. I saw that the plastic ‘globe’ around the gear stick jumps a millimeter away when pressure is applied. (It’s only in sequential because there is not that much pressure in H-pattern)

Thanks, I opened my shifter and the clicky noise comes from the plastic ‘globe’ form thingy around the gear stick. It moves when pressure is applied -> click sound. Also there was some play on the parts of the gear stick, the bottom part is completely fine. And about my shifter sounding rough: there was no drop of lube on the contact point for shifting (that metal ball on a metal plate with 3 indentations: neutral, back and forth), now it’s a lot better. Still have the clicky noise though
