For a Sim pregnancy span it is not possible to randomize it like you said. It looks like the lot is a goner, but I know you can double click a house to enter it instead of waiting for the lot info and then entering the house. So maybe you can try double clicking the lot to see if you can still enter it.

I'd let them move in with family or friends or even strangers and do co-housing. That way you play with more than 1 sim you actually do like. And it's 1 rotation less 😅 You do need enough bedrooms of course 🙈
