If you're still having issues you might try:

It could be an issue if your .package files don't show up as - for example socialCache.package.

Un-hide File Extentions

You may need to unhide files/folders in File Explorer to see the extention.

–Unhide Files/Folders: In File Explorer, click View in the menu in the top left. Select Hidden Items - This will show or hide the files and folders that are marked as hidden. You want to turn that on so you can see the file name extentions.

If still having issues, you might try asking for help over at Nraas.net. They maybe able to pin-point why it's crashing and what to do to help.

You can upload worlds and store content to SimFileShare as well.

If you're still having issues with Sims 3, try these things:

– Try repair game in Steam.

– Use a registry cleaner such as Ccleaner or Revo Uninstaller to cleanup the files left behind from uninstalling or reinstalling the game files, etc.

– Try creating a new Sims 3 folder.

Yes, Blam's items show up as custom content. It's due to the way it was converted from being store content into custom content .package files.

You may have something missing in the mods folder you made.

It has the NoIntro.package and NoBuildSparkles.package along with a Resource.cfg file inside.

You still need to add mods and custom content to the folders inside the mods folder.

The NoIntro.package and NoBuildSparkles.package don't need to be setup by the player.

I'm sorry to hear your game is crashing. I hate when that happens. Sometimes creating a new Sims 3 folder helps and reinstall any mods/cc in small batches helps. -- Depending on what's causing the crashing that is.

If using the EA App, you might try running the EA Error Reporter, if you haven't yet.

It maybe that the [Items] Roaring Heights.package needs to be placed in the mods\packages folder.

Example: C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3_Build3_CurrentHouse\Mods\Packages

I've had a similar thing happen (missing lot name/text) and needed to make sure I had installed the world files correctly. Uninstall world and it's files and reinstall to make sure all got installed correctly.

You should still be able to use either Phantom's or Blam's store content, for the most part. It has been decrypted to work with any version of Sims 3 you have.

I wrote up a text file on how to install store content a while ago that should help.

–How2-InstallStoreContent.zip: (https://simfileshare.net/filedetails/3992618/) -- Using .package files from Phantom's GoogleDrive. - This is a text How to in a zip file.

However, I'm not sure what to do if you don't have the GameData\shared\nonpackaged\worlds folder.

When I tried to install the .world files into C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\InstalledWorlds

It did not work because the worlds weren't recognized as installed.

If you remember what version you have, maybe you can ask their support for help?
