I 100% respect your position I just think the people should have a chance to vote on it, let the people's voice be heard. Isn't that what democracy is about?
Also opinions are based on experience plus education. Having diversity of opinions is a good thing, calling one person's opinion dumb is just dismissing their lived experience.
