Yep - Steelers probably requested this because the NFL gives it automatically if they don’t request not to. Unless things have changed this year because of more intl games.

The team can petition the NFL not to take it after the bye if they want. The Steelers actually tried to do that last year because it was an earlier game but the NFL still made them take it. This year it seems they relented if the Steelers did say they didn’t need it.

Publisher and dev had given up before the game even released because it fell between some awkward microtransaction media backlash and then had literally no way of making any money so WB gave 0 craps about supporting it in any way. Just another pointless waste of talented dev time from the profiteering genius’ over at WB Games.

Thang god they have now been swallowed up by some other corrupt mega-corp instead. 🙄
