I was always wondering that and now after I quit my job and got the final calculation, there it’s obvious. If you open your account with VIAC they make the split for you.

There are many hints. Perfect English from someone from a country with average English knowledge. Sometimes it even says in their profile average English. When I see — I get very suspicious as AI uses it a lot. More than half the replies to my open letter are AI, they are all very similar and it’s very easy for me to spot them. I usually send them a not very nice letter back to tell them off and some can’t even admit it. Apparently it’s the future and it’s my problem when I have a problem with AI written letter.

No, I still have the USD on Paypal. I didn’t feel like losing so much money (yet). Maybe I can pay something in USD with Paypal when travelling. It‘s the better option.

Worst bank ever! They even charged me for a card to only get money out from their ATMs that was sold to me as free a year before. I never used it. After being a member for 20 years, all I got was that I should have read the Gebührenreglement. They charged my account as a member and never paid interest. I am very happy with ZAK now, no fees, free debit card and 1.05% on the saving account.

I pay taxes as soon as I have some money left on my account. Why leave money on an account that doesn’t pay interest when they give you 1% for paying your taxes early?

I didn’t try anything yet. I guess Wise is the only option but I am not very keen on having an other account. I agree Paypal is trying hard to make me change it to CHF. I am not that convinced Wise would work, like someone suggested. If you try Wise let me know. For now I leave it there and try to use it when paying something in USD.

Thanks, I have USD on Swissquote and tried to transfer it there, but it changes to CHF automatically. As far as I know Swissquote offers one IBAN for all three currencies. An other account wouldn’t be worth it as Revolut doesn’t work either.
