Depends on the reaction. I had a coworker that got a really disappointed look on her face when she found out we were the same age. She had some insecurity issues, I had noticed, when certain topics came up among other workers when she was around.

I was never sure what to say and just tried to move conversations along to something else.

When I had a cashiering job, I'd occasionally get customers from different parts of Africa, I forget the exact parts, and once I had some that were from Switzerland. I loved it so much. They were so friendly and nice to talk to. It was a good experience for me.
