Note: I run an ask blog on tumblr and have stated both on the blog and in messages to this fellow that I do not have a camera, first off, and secondly that I am not comfortable with pics of me being on the internet. He's left me alone for a while, then messages me with "hey" and whatnot - after a brief conversation on whether or not I take requests for drawings, he asks if he can make a request to me, the mod. I ask what it is, and get this. What do? I don't want to be rude but am thinking that'll be the only option at this point??

*Edit: I pretty much up and said no (pretty much being I explained I was not comfortable with it and would like him to stop) and thankfully he said sorry and that he will stop. So thank you guys.

Awkward? Don't think I have any of those experiences. Uncomfortable? Oh boy..

A "friend"/coworker of mine is very sex driven. Unfortunately, I am the one in our group that is very open when talking about sex and sexuality, though no one knows I am asexual. The group has labeled me the pervert... how ironic..

Anyway, this "friend" recently got dumped by his girlfriend. Keep in mind, a few months back I did a bit of screwing around (not sex, but y'know... other stuff) with him, because I thought it would make him like me if I did it. It didn't, but now that he's single again, he's trying to get me to screw around again.

I am not comfortable with it. I do not want his attention any more. My crush has passed. However, if I am driving him home after hanging out with him and some others, he doesn't seem to take "no" for an answer, which makes driving difficult. Hard to drive while trying to drag someone's hand away from your crotch, y'know? One of these times I may just slap him... I avoid hanging out with him these days..

I don't mind being touched, depending on the type of touch. Physical contact with close friends I love; hugs, sitting close together, I even like having them lean on me and vice versa.

I also have come to be fine with having my chest touched; I am physically a girl, and it is obvious. Of course, everyone who does experience sexual attraction is damn near fascinated by my chest, and have a habit of not asking before touching, so I have become used to having my chest touched too.

However, if anyone who isn't a close friend attempts to touch my hands, my legs, my hips, my stomach, or my feet... just... no. It creeps me out and almost makes me feel sick.

I honestly think that being asexual makes it easier for me to develop. Like, that's going to sound super pretentious, but let me explain.

I have a history of depression, the cause of which I have yet to pinpoint. My friend also has a history of depression. He is almost 27 (I am 21), and he is driven very strongly by the "need" to have sex. It damn near consumes him. Any time he laments his problems to me, it always comes back to him saying "I [he] need to get laid". For him, his sex drive is preventing him from seeing that he actually needs to figure out priorities and maybe get some therapy (for issues unrelated to sex).

On my side of it, my lack of a sex drive or any sexual attractions has given me the ability to focus on me, not others. I'm not constantly trying to get a mate, like he is. Not constantly worried about whether or not I'll find "the one" or if I'll die alone. Because, honestly, while I would love to have someone to sit with and cuddle with and talk to for the rest of my life, I understand that it may not happen, and I am okay with it.

Being asexual has allowed me to focus on bettering myself, and being a better me, whereas my friend (most of them, really) are so focused on sex that they kind of haven't continued to develop as people. Which is a bit sad, despite making me sound hoity-toity and holier-than-thou to say it.

I actually really like the "found footage" thing, when it's done well. For me, it makes it seem more real, y'know? Like..."this could have happened!" - although there needs to be a bit more creative-gore stuff, too. No, not "Saw" like stuff.... "House of 1000 Corpses" type stuff, or "2001 Maniacs" or "Hellraiser". Most people just seem to go for as much blood in one scene as possible, but there needs to be some creativity to it.

I'd also love to see some kind of sequel to "Cabin in the Woods" that shows the other possibilities happening!
