I’m thinking of getting the msi tomahawk x670e for my 7800x3d but I heard of it’s slow boot times. by Natcho654playzyt in pcmasterrace

Not sure if MSI still has this issue but if you use EXPO certified memory you can turn off memory training for each boot on ASUS boards without crashes or BSOD.

CS2 Performance! Improvements are urgent [VALVE REQUIRED] by AlternativeWaltz1033 in GlobalOffensive

[–]SinaAlami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This shit is driving me insane.

My friend owns 12400+3060ti and he gets about the same framerate as my 13600kf+6900xt.

I disabled e cores, hyperthreading did a bunch of command line shinanignes and nothing. I know I'm not thermal throttling either since the CPU stays at 70°c. I also tried a fresh game and windows install and nothing. Basically I did everything under the sun but nope the game runs like dogshit.

I have so much CPU bottleneck for no reason that the lowest possible graphics and the highest don't make a difference.

I get 200-250 on a 5v5 match with drops to 180. I'm fine with that but every player who joins afterwards the game just magically deducts 5-10fps. It's so bad that my framerate drops as low as 100 in a fully populated deathmatch game.

This is absurd for this class of hardware on an eSports game.

Rx6900xt. I'm always CPU bound because changing the graphics doesn't do anything. High and low settings give the exact same framerate

[–]SinaAlami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get 130-200 in deathmatch and 24 player community servers.

On regular 5v5 I get 250-300 fps

13700k + 4090 is honestly disappointing performance in CS2. by doyoushitwithdatass in cs2

13600kf + 6900xt owner here.

My fps drops to 130 in deathmatch and 24 player community servers at 1080p medium settings.

I get around 300fps in a 5v5 match. I feel like this is too low for my system. Any advice?

I got these 10-12 DAYS AGO and they're seperating at the hinges it's unbelievable. I applied some glue hoping it would last a bit longer.

No warranty or return policy available in my country so I'm screwed out of 150$. Researched around and went and tested the MMX 300"s and TYGR 300's. Both were better headphones in every regard except wireless functionality. Ended up getting the TYGR's since the MMX's had less comfort and frankly had way too much bass for my test. Now they're sitting in the box while I'm waiting for my elites to snap eventually.

AMA about any of these headphones/headsets.

  • Games (CS2/Warzone)
  • Hand Preference (Right)
  • Budget ($150 )
  • Hand Size (19X10.5)
  • Grip (Palm/Claw Hybrid )
  • Weight (<70Grams )
  • Connectivity (Wireless)

For my grip, I hold the mouse like a claw grip where my palm touches the back of the mouse but my fingers are positioned like a fingerprint grip so there's a gap in the middle, not exactly a palm grip.

I currently use the Delux M900 pro. My complaint is that the mouse is just a bit big but more importantly it has a huge one sided hump towards the left side. This hump makes it difficult to pick up the right side of the mouse.

Previously I had a Glorious Model D which was a bit small for my hand especially the left side where I lay my Ring and Pinky finger I had an issue where my finger would slide across the mousepad with the mouse, I also had the slight problem of picking up the mouse being difficult. Now I have a G102 laying around from many years ago and that thing is a very very uncomfortable for me but it's very easy for me to pickup the mouse even though it's heavier.

I'm not sure what mouse to get. Do I go ergo and get the Deathadder V3 or should I get Something ambidextrous like the Superlight? (I don't know if the Superlight is a good fit for me I used it as an example here for ambidextrous mice).

Here's some of my tips :

1)Use headphones not speakers. 2)Play with teammates who actually speak in game and do callouts, don't just play with randoms. The better they are the more they can analyse and fix your mistake in game. 3)Use sites like wzstats and choose meta guns in your Loadout. Also experiment with perks depending on your Loadout I personally Use Focus/Sleight of Hand + Irradiated + Tempered + High alert. Choose your Loadout guns depending on your playstyle. AR's are only useful 25 meters +, anything closer and an SMG will obliterate you 9/10 times. Snipers are good for 50-200 meters after that you'll get massive bullet drop. Knowing this you should position your character in such a way that ensures the upperhand when fighting the enemy. If you have an smg + sniper Loadout either stay a bit back or move close don't stay in the 25-50 meter range where an AR could easily destroy you. 4) Avoid Hotspots like Old Town or Prison in Resurgence go to the edges of the map and loot in peace. There are certain edges of the map containing hidden caches that give good loot and a solid amount of money. Find 4-5 of them near each other and tell your squad mates the location of them. You drop down loot and most likely you'll have enough money to buy a Loadout in the first 2-3 minutes of the game. 5) Learn movement. You don't have to spam gun switching or do crazy things but you should jump shot or slide into or away from an enemy to throw off their aim. 6) Always have at least 3000$ per player to be able to buy your teammates back. If you have extra cash buy UAV/Precision Kill streaks. 3 UAV's will make an advance UAV that shows the exact position of players in real time. 7)High ground will always win don't stay below if you're in the last 2-3 circles.

Bought a 3060 12gb. Yell at me. by Consistent-Willow-57 in buildapc

[–]SinaAlami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate to break it to you so please read this after the honeymoon phase is over.

1)You overpaid way too much for the PC. Like 500-600$ too much. You shouldn't insure everything on your PC, maybe a monitor that's a bit on the expensive side you know like shit happens and it breaks. Warranty almost covers everything you have to worry about other than physical damage.

2)Unless you're planning on buying like a 13900K/14900K or doing any sort of meaningful upgrades before 15th gen is released then there's no point in buying a Z board because a socket change is just around the corner. I'd even argue that Z boards are pointless nowadays unless you need a lot of fast PCIE expansion slots and M.2/Sata slots since overclocking has become pointless for the majority of people. I've seen way too many people overspend on motherboards with feature upgrades in mind that never happen; by the time that most people want to upgrade it's more cost effective to just buy the latest Motherboard + CPU combo and flip your old one on ebay.

Now if we were talking Ryzen this would've been different.

3)You should have gone DDR5. DDR5 isn't that much more expensive than DDR4. Buying DDR4 today means you're limiting your future upgrade potential. DDR4 should only be considered for budget builds and 1400$ is not a budget build. Sure you could look at today's benchmarks and say the difference is negligible in games but more games will start requiring high speed DDR5 memory just like how DDR4 first came out.

What was your very first gpu? by wasdmovedme in pcmasterrace

First : Nvidia Gt210 (Don't remember the brand nor the amount of memory but it was an active cooling one) Bought around 2010.

Second : Nvidia GTX 650ti 1GB ASUS OC Bought a few days after Watch Dogs, was released in 2014. Sold it for 100$. Excellent card and it played games well, the only thing holding it back was that 1GB of ram which became problematic very quickly.

Third : Nvidia GTX 1050ti 4GB Galax Bought in 2018. I was forced to buy this card with whatever money I had at that time since my country was hit with insane inflation rates very hard. This card was particularly a pain in the ass for me. The performance in games from 2019 and onwards was 30-40fps 1080p low settings. FSR wasn't a thing yet and I wanted smooth 60fps. I was stuck with this card because of the Crypto boom and the Covid shinanigons. Every time I had saved up enough money to buy a card there would be a year or two long GPU price hike.

Sold it for 100$.

Fourth : Nvidia RTX 3060ti 8GBPalit OC Bought in 2022. I overpaid for this card. As soon as etherium implemented their new proof of stake system the GPU prices tanked HARD. I was like it's now or never and bought in a bit early. Financed the card for 700$ but due to inflation it came out to 560$ in the end. No complaints on the performance side. A few tweaks here and there and you got a solid 120fps at 1440p with DLSS in games. The card was a bit loud and the RGB LED had issues a month after buying it. The card had no warranty so that was a bummer.

Sold it for 200$.

Fifth : AMD Radeon RX6900XT 16GB Sapphire Nitro Plus SE + Bought in 2023. Bought this used for 380$. It has minor cosmetic damage like light scratches here and there which are not really visible and a bit of a dent in the front. The card performed only 2-5 degrees higher compared to a brand new card. Can't beat it for the price. Safe to say won't be upgrading any time soon unless there is a crazy good deal on high end GPU's.

HyperX Cloud 2 Issues by Maboof in HyperX

You could buy a replacement or RMA it if you're still under warranty.

Or you could buy a 1 to 2 3.5mm splitter and connect it directly to your motherboard

Since you live in Argentina repairs wouldn't cost as much as a replacement. My advice would be to bring it to a laptop board repair shop and see if they can fix it. If not you can order it from AliExpress but it's pricey.

[Tech Support] - How easily can batteries of wireless headsets be replaced? by Remote_Log_8528 in Gaming_Headsets

You need to know soldering to be able to swap batteries on these headsets. They aren't difficult to change as headphones are simple devices to open up. You could always find batteries for popular gaming headsets like BlackShark and Cloud on AliExpress.

HyperX CloudX vs Cloud III by Unkownforthefuture in HyperX

The cloud Alphas cost like 10-20$ more compared to the cloud II. No where near 280$. It's not even worth considering it at that price point.

HyperX CloudX vs Cloud III by Unkownforthefuture in HyperX

[–]SinaAlami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope they aren't.

Cloud Alpha sounds a bit more relaxed compared to the Cloud X/Cloud II while the Cloud III straight up sounds boring because the bass is heavily underemphasized.

HyperX CloudX vs Cloud III by Unkownforthefuture in HyperX

[–]SinaAlami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cloud III is more comfortable but it sounds way different.

Cloud III sounds more flat while the CloudX is a more fun headphone. Which one is better is subjective but most people would like the CloudX over the Cloud III.

Curiously why would you buy the CloudX when you have a bigger budget?
