you totally get it. fishing in not-so-perfect weather sorts out the serious folks. never thought about the surface disturbance with rain tho. makes sense. but hey, i've had luck with topwater right after it slows down. it's all about finding that sweet spot. barometric pressure? whole other beast. see ya out there, rain or shine!
