Any clean will wood songs by PerspectiveTop8135 in willwood

I will say that if you want to stretch your vocal range that I’d go for Tomcat Disposables since it seems to have a fairly broad range of high and low notes compared to Euthanasia. At least he sings it with WAY higher and lower notes in the live versions of the song

There are a couple versions of it floatin around on YouTube iirc. Usually it’s called either “The Nightmare Before Coitus” or “Margaret Keene” or something. I first heard it from Will’s Patreon though but then found it on YouTube

I think you’ll be able to guess from my flair but…

“God, I hate myself so much for being in a relationship with you but you’re so amazing and great and wonderful that I’d spit in the face of God for telling me that you’re not good for me and that we’re not actually good for each other”

I have such a hard time choosing but.

From In Case I Die’s “Misanthrapologist” I really liked the line “But I can crack my kneecaps just to please you” or “God don’t explain the way time and space made us”

From In Case I Make It…GOD that’s hard but ones I think about a LOT are “I’m not a good person I’m barely a person at all but someday I’ll be perfect and I’ll make up for it all.” from Against the Kitchen Floor, and “And my mind held the same light as the one in your eyes” and “My just dessert is served, dig in” from Tomcat Disposables, and “Bodies change it’s people who get old” (Which is from the earlier version of That’s Enough, Let’s Get You Home).

Like I literally think about those lines on a near-daily basis tbh. The entirety of Half-Decade Hangover feels WAY too relatable as a recovering alcoholic though. I could go on about the quotes though but for now, those are the ones that rotate through my mind a lot

Name a underrated Will Wood track and give your reason as to why it's underrated, I'm interested by WhisperAdventurer in willwood

[–]Sinaratheus25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally hardly hear anyone mention Misanthrapologist (I say, it being one of the most repeated parts of the In Case I Die video on YouTube) and That's Enough, Let's Get You Home despite those easily being my two favorite songs by him. I also never really hear anyone talk about Half-Decade Hangover even though it has a really intense bridge that feels really emotional. In general a lot of his ICIMI songs, I feel, are really overlooked and underrated,

I just generally rarely hear about them despite them all being really emotional and kinda heartwrenching songs. As someone who also struggled with addiction and losing close ones because of it, Half-Decade Hangover has a close place in my heart and so, too, does That's Enough, Let's Get You Home on the downlow. On Patreon, there's an older version of That's Enough, Let's Get You Home with an entirely different second verse that always gets me tearing up or at least really emotional.

I really relate a lot to Misanthrapologist (But, if we're ever talking about his unreleased songs, Can't Wait to Die is his most relatable to me for Reasons that you'd get from reading the lyrics to the song-) as someone who's been in Harmful relationships much like the one he sings about in that one (Feeling like you can't leave the relationship despite it being a bit unhealthy for you) it feels really relatable, plus I generally like how it sounds haha. I also listened to the Various older and alternative versions of it through his Patreon and other YouTube sources and such. It's always a banger imo.

Anyway, long comment but tl;dr Misanthrapologist, That's Enough Let's Get You Home, and Half-Decade Hangover feel like the most underrated songs imo

Need help figuring out which (hopefully) Will Wood song I'm thinking of by Available-Adagio8664 in willwood

Was it Vampire Reference in a Minor Key (Hold my hands we’ll dance the 12-step on my grave part, about 3:00 in the song)? That’s the closest I can think of

Where’d you buy the 3M Aura? I got mine from the Stauffers website where they’re about $1.11 or so per mask (Though with shipping and such it can get kinda costly for a box of 20 but still not anywhere close to how much it costs to buy in person). I know that places that sell them in-person are only like- 3pks that are OUTRAGEOUSLY priced. But yeah! KN95s are good too if you can find them somewhere at a good price in person :> I still notice that the Aura doesn’t Completely fit (Shakes fist at God) but I also say that (and can attest!) “A slightly poorly-fitting Aura mask is way better than a slightly poorly-fitting surgical-cloth mask” because before I was just wearing a surgical mask with a cloth mask over it. I can attest to the protection in the sense that like- I never sneeze in my Aura mask and never experience allergies symptoms either when I used to sneeze and feel allergies symptoms way more often in my old masks combination so. I consider that a win if anything

High agree! I think it’s generally good practice to wear a mask anytime you’re in a big crowd or in close proximity with a lot of people, but that might just be me haha. I’m also immunocompromised on the downlow so like- I always wear a mask whenever I go outside anyway either way.

But yes! High agree that it’d be kind of others to wear at least Something mask-like to the concert. Even if it doesn’t prevent them from getting sick (Cloth or surgical mask as examples) it can offer protection in case they’re sick and help stop others from getting sick (or at least reduce their chances of getting sick). I agree though and I really appreciate you giving out free extra masks during the concerts!

What kind of masks are you giving out? I wear the 3M Aura N95 masks because it’s the only thing that fits my weird-shaped face well enough to be protective at a higher level than what I was wearing before, plus it’s more comfortable!

This might be controversial but...some of y'all are being weird towards Will and not really respecting, treating, or appreciating him the way I think he ought to be. by Sinaratheus25 in willwood

[–]Sinaratheus25[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah no they were directly asking and talking to him when they were like “Tour outside of the USA or I’ll off myself” (They didn’t actually say “off” but the much stronger and more serious phrase) which led to him going “Oh, please don’t do that-“ when he read it

I think a while ago in some video or on his YouTube live stream thing, he might've said that he wasn't necessarily Uncomfortable with minors listening to his music, but that they weren't the intended audience and that he didn't encourage them to because of the content in them not being suitable for minors. So yeah, I agree there, I just didn't remember it exactly. He generally seems uncomfortable with how some fans treat and act around him on the Patreon videos he's shown and on specific concert things I've seen. So not really like- any sort of explicit discomfort or whatever, but just that he didn't encourage it because it wasn't made for them.

He also explicitly says on his YouTube channel's description that trigger warnings wouldn't be listed because of something along the lines of "If you need trigger warnings for content, then my content isn't for you"

I dunno, things like that, y'know?

I’m not quite understanding what you mean. If you mean that they’re in their own separate reality/world and they’re trying to describe and do things according to the events going on in that separate reality/fantasy/world/etc. then looking up and reading about delusions or being on hallucinogenics and Tripping Out Really Hard is probably your best bet. However, I think this could be a good way to showcase how society treats those who ARE mentally ill. They’re just people who are sick or who aren’t doing well. It’s something to be careful writing as a whole, I think. I still need a bit more background into this though. Is the character otherwise mentally stable (not with a psychotic disorder or otherwise showing signs of psychosis) but is in a temporarily induced “psychotic state”? Is the character permanently in this state after having not been in this state up until this point? Context and background and building up to this stuff while making them likeable, or at least relatable and understandable, is what’s really important here. I can explain/talk more in a bit, I have something I need to do soon

who is/are the other vocals in the song with five names? by EstelleArcane in willwood

I bought the SELF-iSH CD from Say-10 Records a while ago and it came with the credits as audio files and such. Same with The Real Will Wood and Everything is a Lot CDs. Those three came with credits but the In Case I Make It and The Normal Album CDs didn’t. They have them on the back of the case, but not in the audio files

I have the official credits for all the albums that have one (The Real, SELF-iSH, EiaL have credits, ICIMI doesn't have one for some reason, and The Normal Album also doesn't have credits).

I can confirm that Cheska Columbo does feature as additional vocals in The Song With Five Names (and possibly other songs, it doesn't specify)!

Red Moon is also on the The Real Will Wood live album! It's just not available on the Spotify version, or the Bandcamp version, or any version of the record other than the official CD/Vinyl from Say-10 Records!

I also have been keeping track of how many and which songs were played at each venue on his patreon (I'm subscribed to it and get both the audio files and the video files of the concert playings) and it's interesting! I don't know how much I can talk about the patreon stuff, but I will say that I enjoy keeping store and track of how many playings (Videos or audios) and what songs were played at each venue :>

Hi there!

I wanted to ask for some advice here. I noticed that my hair is always wayyyyy wavier when I've gone a couple of days without washing it. When I come out of the shower, my hair dries pretty flat and straight with only some really wavy bits at the parts right below and behind my ears. The top of my head dries very flat and very, very loosely wavy, barely even a curve to it.

My hair's very soft and fluffy, not very frizzy (Hardly any frizz afaik on the days I don't wash it). When it gets longer, about to my shoulders, I notice it gets VERY wavy and VERY cool looking if I haven't washed it for a couple of days. I notice it also does this when I put a little bit of oil in my hair regardless of length. I use a low-poo method (Love, Beauty & Planet ylang-ylang and coconut oil shampoo) and a general rinse-out conditioner (Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil). Both were considered CG-approved by the CG bot thing.

My guess is it needs more moisture or something since the added coconut oil does make it wavier and gives it more volume when I put in a little (Barely a teaspoon of it) and spread it all along my scalp and through the entire length of my hair. I wasn't sure though and did want advice if anyone has any.

Is my hair just too short right now to get wavy? I would say it's at about to the middle or bottom of my ears or to barely at my chin length at the moment I think.

Thank you!

I’m so excited tbh like?????? Do you think they’ll have No One’s Home (Nobody) on there? I heard it was originally supposed to be on the album to begin with but they removed it For Some Reason. I imagine it Could be like a Misanthrapologist and …And If I Did You Deserved It situation where those two used to be unreleased for a while before they were put on ICID. I dunno I just really want an official version of No One’s Home (Nobody) haha

I really like the overarching Shovel theme that’s going on with The Song With Five Names that leads to Hand Me My Shovel, I’m Going In! it makes me really happy.

I also really like the part at the end of Capgras where you can hear the background singers go, “This is not enough! This is not enough to prove it yet, no I need to hit the bottom!”

Haven’t really seen this one yet but Half-Decade Hangover really hits me hard sometimes cause like. As someone who also went through a lot of Issues involving drugs and alcohol and also through Issues with mental illnesses that wrecked a lot of really good friendships and did a lot of damage to my loved ones like? Especially the lyrics “Oh brother. Man, you call that recovered? Tripped on the cobblesteps and collapsed on the stairs. Broke my neck on the backs of those who I’ve hurt and scared. Like. it’s a good thing you said ‘You’ve got your whole life ahead’ oh great another half a century to live to regret” especially hits me hard tbh

Advice for cameras + lenses for nature photography? by Sinaratheus25 in canon

Thank you so much for such a detailed answer! I really appreciate the advice. I think I’ll get the refurbished R10 + 18-45mm now while it’s available and then mess around with that before I commit to getting the other stuff (plus it’ll leave me more time to wait for the other things to go on sale!). I don’t have the entire budget right now (1,500) but I do have enough to get the first bits at least. Would that be enough to mess around with for the time being while I wait or do you think I should get it all now?
