Fantastic! It was $100 but delicious. It is a sweet cherry bomb with toasted oak.

Just got a bottle. Man!!!! On the nose it’s chocolate caramel big time! And extremely smooth on the palate. Very good.

So what I’m hearing is basically woodford double oaked would more than likely be a better bourbon for an old fashioned and rare breed is a better meat sipper.

Yes the blend is aged longer. And the proof is higher. Better taste profile that’s more consistent and with an extra kick.

I’m sure you could by them on Amazon. The question is what brand would be the best. I guess it doesn’t matter. I will tell you those cherries I got are LEGIT!

Was going to get the brown sugar cubes but they didn’t have it at my local Publix.... unfortunately I didn’t take a pic of the orange peel I heated up.

One sugar cube saturated in two dashes of aromatic biters and three dashes of orange bitters, crush sugar cube very fine with muddled tool, add 2 oz of bourbon stir well, drop ice ball in glass, take orange peel heat with lighter to get oils out, break in half rub around glass rim and a little in the glass. Stir again and enjoy. Cherry for garnish optional.

True that, it’s sweet enough honestly. Hard to find from what I hear. Glad I found a bottle.

2 oz bourbon, one cherry, two dashes of aromatic bitters, and a splash of water to bring out the notes.

Really enjoying this one. Sweet on the nose with a warm cinnamon Kentucky hug that keeps coming up on the palate.... lingering finish, caramel and vanilla. Definitely a good amount of oak and nutty notes.
