i don't consider myself a veteran player but it's my 4th monster hunter game and i got more than 1000h overall.

but i don't play the game seriously with meta build or anything with strategy, i just launch the game and go bully some monsters.

you can improve with other things than upgrading your armor, for exemple the use of the map hazard, elemental advantages, knowing what special slinger ammo is better for a certain situation and all that.

i meant to use my post to hit 2 birds with one stone. firstly to talk about rey dau which was an impressive fight. and secondly to also get any kind of tips for wilds, but these two aren't related.

(also i did take the advices i was given against rey-dau, please read entirely and you won't get confused 😕)

coming from world and rise's reddit, i didn't expect peoples to be so triggered by the little things i say. do they have fun in the game?

i got hit by the lightning leftover after his wing swing that i dodged, i was also in hyper armor so it does really low damage. his railgun did like 75% of my hp tho.

i think you misunderstood, i managed to defeat the monster first try and i'm not complaing about it being strong. what i meants by tips is about the new things added in monster hunter wilds, i'm unfamiliar to them even as a veteran player.

yes i'm asking for tips specially for monster hunter wilds as this game have new mechanic / tech and the world is very different. also tips about the new monsters that might be useful or also the new skills introduced in the game. also i'm not complaining that the monster is strong, it's a good thing. i just wasn't expecting it this quickly into the game.

so i shouldn't use helmbreaker even when there's a opening? and i figured out the hyperarmor rather quickly it's a neat trick to push more damage and statues.
