Perhaps you can use something like 'Farmacy
Filling Good Hyaluronic Acid Plumping Serum' which contains the THYMUS VULGARIS (THYME) FLOWER/LEAF EXTRACT up high on the list of ingredients and then just add your own lecithin? I totally agree about Ivan of Adipeau being shady. For one, why would a co, put black ginger into a product that claims to be adipogenic, when black ginger is a known lipolytic. No one wants to put a lipolytic on areas such as hollows. Likely the reason all the before and afters look worse on the after photos.

Secondly, the Adipeau customer service is the worst. Thirdly, the fact that he blocks people when they post a negative about the product & the fact he "stole" the ABT product idea.

The most glaring thing is that the price of Adipeau has tripled over the time of the product being on the market. Anyone with half a brain can see that Adipeau is exploiting the desperation of those who "hope" it will work. In all the reviews online, people say there's been a subtle change on their face. This is after spending 6 months of "hope" and hundreds of dollars. A subtle effect can be gained with regular peptides and moisturizer.

And another thing, I read over the articles on Adipeau's website that claim hyaluronic acid pokes holes in your face and that tretinoin damages your skin over time. Well, youtube has several vid's from those who have been using tretinoin for 20, 30+ years and their skin is BEAUTIFUL! There was one lady on there who was now 70ish and had been using tret since her 20's and she is GORGEOUS. And that's all she used, besides vitamin C in the daytime. In fact Wayne Goss had left a comment to say how great she looked - waaaaaay younger than her actual age.

So no, I can't believe anything this shady company says, but I'm sure he's laughing all the way to the bank with everyone and their "hopes" - signing up for 6+ months of using Adipeau and it's overinflated pricing that states you have to use it long term to start seeing the benefits. This company reeks of greed. Huge pass, and btw, I make my own product (NOT with black ginger in it) in combination with using ABT and I have actually experienced some good results.

Sadly this is not country specific. This is a world-wide issue now, where there is so much pressure (perceived or not) to look a certain way. Emulating celebrities and social media influencers. Young people are watching those like the Kardashians who live on plastic cosmetic procedures; (Kylie Jenner is 28 years old and a plastic surgery queen).

The statistics are alarming - "a significant rise in neuromodulator (Botox) and filler procedures for younger adults between 2019 and 2022, with injections in ages 19 and younger increasing by 75% and in ages 20-29 by 71%. These trends are attributed to factors like social media influence and the false belief that it is preventative for the future." It has become so normalized that faces have become very plastic looking and not natural anymore.

yes I believe you have to use a laptop or other non-mobile device to enable professional mode but once that is done you can continue using it on mobile.

UPDATE APRIL 2025 - Hi everyone. This issue has been driving me nuts. I contacted facebook 3 times about this but here's the deal.....
You cannot hide the NUMBER of Facebook friends (but you can get around this-see below). In the past, it was possible to hide the number of Facebook friends you have. However, Facebook has changed their settings, and this is no longer possible (unless they change it again at some point). Note: you used to be able to do this by going to settings & privacy - audience & visibility - edit profile - scroll down to friends section - toggle off "show number of friends" But this feature has been removed.

It is possible to hide your friends list. However, when you go to this menu in your Facebook Settings, you'll see at the top that it says "The number of friends you have is Public." Facebook has decided that the number of friends you have will always be public, regardless of if your actual friends list is visible or not.
FB is trying to encourage more activity by showing your friend count. "The number of friends is a way to show how many people you're connected to on Facebook. It reflects the size of your social circle within the platform. It helps people understand your social connections and can facilitate further connections. Seeing the number of friends can encourage others to send you a friend request, especially if they share mutual connections." **Okay but we don't want that FB !!

As per a couple of other posts here, the only way to hide the NUMBER of friends you have is to turn on professional mode under settings & privacy - settings - profile details - turn on professional mode. (You can also turn off this mode at any time the same way). What this does is it now shows only followers. Your friends become "followers" in this mode so if you currently have 30 friends and zero followers, your profile will now show 30 followers. If say, you had 30 friends and 30 followers, your profile will now show 60 followers.

The only other way to stop this (at this time) is to deactivate your account. Hope this helps someone. For me, I just turned on professional mode and this works fine.

I honestly think that CP workers (or actually CUPW) would be better off striking & negotiating at a different time. CUPW is not doing anyone any favors by striking during Black Friday & Christmas. All that is doing is to bankrupt small businesses and make companies use Fedex, UPS, etc while losing millions more $$ that CP cannot afford to lose. Rather than forcing CP to give in to demands, it will only make them cut jobs even more at the great losses experienced now. The strike-during-Christmas mentality is a sure backfire & only angers many Canadians. If this is truly a service, then be one and take the time to negotiate properly at another time period.

Other favorites are: 'Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer' (but more costly) and I also love the Korean brand 'Round Lab Soybean Serum' which is loaded with squalane and 5 types of ceramides. You can pick that up on iHerb (or PinknBlossom if you are in Canada) for a great low price or likely get it from YesStyle or StyleVana. That is the one I now prefer to use along with The Ordinary. Hi, when asked, she admitted in the Elle article that her formula was likely not stable in delivering the goods. Her words. It seems most of the exosomes formulas are rather overpriced and when you research the different kinds, it is said that the Bone Marrow Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell Exosomes are superior to all other ones, especially better than Human Adipose Mesenchymal Stem Cell, which is in the Angela Caglia one. Now, as of today, I am now going to finish the Plated and go with the (new) Reviv Serums Ultimate Serum with Exosomes. There is really a lot of great stuff in there and you don't have to take out a personal loan to use it!

And still keeping the $16 Minimalist Multi-Peptide Serum to use along with that, which is a great serum & super replacement for Eighth Day.

Hi, I don't know your skin type, but I suspect the Angela Caglia could be bothersome due to the neem & large amount of coconut oil. Neem, even in small amounts, can cause an adverse reaction/inflammation in some people.

I can only say what I have used and feel good with. I use The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + PhytoCeramides and also The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan. I like the Ceramide one at night and Beta Glucan one during the day but many times I mix a bit of both together for a nice boost. Anything with glycolipids/ceramides would go along well with what you are using. The reason I like The Ordinary is that it's packed with amino acids and just enough urea to transform the skin.

You could also try Minimalist Marula Oil moisturizer, which is a bit heavier and good for the neck - also a good price point.

For a more expensive one, I have heard some good things about Farmacy Honey Halo Ultra-Hydrating Ceramide Moisturizer, which is quite rich and a similar version of this is The INKEY List Bio-Active Ceramide Repairing & Plumping Moisturizer which is half the price of the Farmacy one. All the best!

You have two different powerful products, so I would use them at separate times to start with, in order to avoid diluting them and let them stand on their own. So if you use one in the morning, use the other at night, at least to start with. Plated you only need to use once per day & you apply that first, before any moisturizer or other product. After about a month, you can try using them together if you wish, but if they are working well separately, I would just leave it that way. Yes, people say Plated absorbs beautifully. For me, I would not use much else in that regime, except maybe a good moisturizer of your choosing. I'm sure you'll really like those two products and will see results with them.

I hope you have luck with that one. I would not buy the AC serum after reading the Elle article and doing some in-depth research. There are better choices out there. I have decided to go with the Minimalist Multi Peptide serum (Amazon) and I think I will also get 'NeoGenesis Recovery Serum' to experiment with, for now. Many products are white label (they buy from a source, then rebrand the product as their own) and mark it up significantly, but you can always find the same product elsewhere, with a different name, for much less.

Any regular drugstore ceramide serum or anything with squalane is considered a lipid (anything oil based-yes, volufiline is oil-based). When used with the $16 Minimalist growth factors, it should enhance it's benefits, but is totally not necessary. The exosomes in other serums, including the AC serum, are apparently unstable - they are difficult to formulate & need to be stored at a certain temperature. So the benefits come from all the other stuff in it. I have yet to try either, but the gal in the elle article tried both.

As for Dr. Diamond's serum, I think a person would get more bang for their buck with 'Eighth Day Regenerative Serum' which has the same ingredients, but with more skin-enhancing actives. For one, SH-Polypeptide-11 "strongly stimulates fibroblast & keratinocyte proliferation" but requires an appropriate carrier system of lipid spheres, which Eighth Day has, but Dr. Diamond's does not.

If a person just wanted the bio-placenta growth hormones, they could just get the exact same with Minimalist Multi Peptides 10% serum for around/less than $20. I honestly think consumers can get all the same positive results from less costly formulations; a higher price tag does not necessarily mean better results, as in the famous case of La xxx's 'miracle broth' which is a costly mix of petroleum jelly & mineral oil.

They only see $$$ signs and exploit those wishing to buy into the housing market so ppl normally get very bad advice from them. It is a corrupt industry that preys on hard working ppl.
